Item is a beige cabinet card with brown letterpress at bottom, "W. Crooke/ 103 PRINCES STREET/ EDINBURGH." Photograph is of a mother and two daughters. The woman sits on the left, wears a tight jacket with lace sleeves and a narrow bonnet with crushed fabric decoration at brim and large silk bow tied under her neck. The older girl on the right wears a dark fabric, probably velvet, dress with lace collar and lace trimming on short sleeves. The infant on the mother's lap wears a lace dress and bonnet. Only the infant looks toward the camera.

She wears a small bonnet on the back of her head. Photograph taken in studio setting with drapery and small side table. She rests her hand on a book on the table. On verso, photographer's stamp with the letters "R" and two "h"s intertwined followed by the text "HUGH H. RITCHIE/ PHOTOGRAPHER/ 146 PRINCES STREET/ OPPOSITE THE LOTHIAN ROAD/ EDINBURGH".

Item is a beige card with full length portrait of a man in highland dress in a studio setting with column at the left. On verso, geometric interlace border with text at the centre, "Wm REEVIE,/ PHOTOGRAPHER,/ BALLATER./ More of this can be had at any/ time on sending name." Above text, a royal crest with phrase from the Order of the Garter, "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense".

Item is a cream coloured card with thin brown border and brown letterpress at the bottom edge, "A. W. STEELE/ LEITH". Photograph is a vignetted portrait of a man in sack coat and tie. On verso, pink card backing is lithographed with a ribbon containing the text "PERSEVERE" and the design of a tall ship with a lady at the centre. Below, the letters "A" "W" and "S" are intertwined. The bottom half of the card contains the text "A. W. STEELE/ FINE ART & PHOTOGRAPHIC STUDIO,/ 8, Bernard Street,/ LEITH./ Copies may be had/ PORTRAITS ENLARGED OR DIMINISHED/ COLORING ARTISTICALLY EXECUTED/ Marion Imp Paris".

On verso, the motto and arms for the city of Aberdeen (showing three castles, two leapords and the motto "Bon Accord") followed by the photographer's stamp in black, "ARTIST/ &/ PHOTOGRAPHER/ W. Carey,/ 35 & 37 BACK WYND,/ ABERDEEN./ Pictures of every description,/ Copied, enlarged and finished in Oil,/ Water, or Crayon./ George Mason & Co."

Item consists of a brown coloured cabinet with a cream coloured verso. Adhered to the recto is an image of a man, woman, and two young girls sitting in a cardboard prop of a late nineteenth-century automobile. An older woman leans against the hood of the vehicle. All are wearing hats. The backdrop to this studio setting features a landscape. Recto reads: "W. Lees / PHOTOGRAPHER (left) / 23 BATH ST. / PORTOBELLO. (right)" and the verso has "7.00" inscribed with graphite.

Scotts Monument, Edinburgh

Note that the date is based on G.W.W.'s photographic carreer. Lantern slide, wood frame with a B&W glass slide. Inscription on slide in white ink "Scotts Mont Edinburgh 1149" and "G.W.W." Sticker with the letter Y on wood frame. G.W.W. stands for George Washington Wilson who was a Scottish artist and photographer who's studio ran from 1860 to 1880.

RCAF WWII album

Blue cover with gold embossed letters- "Scrap Book." Bound with black string. White pages, photographs mounted photo corners or glue. Notation in black ink. Photographs are snapshots of people in front of buildings, street scenes, houses, streetcars, a transmitter station, soldiers, air force, Bolton Abbey, Bernard Castle, and other sites.
Other materials include a postcard of Robbins Drug Store in New Brunswick, five telegrams from Allan Jackson, four newspaper articles about wireless operators, three articles about women entering the Royal Canadian Air Force, a booklet from Westminster Abbey entitled "Westminster Memories," and eleven small souvenir picture cards featuring different interiors, a brochure called "What's on and Where to Go in Glasgow," a pamphlet about the Castle of Edinburgh, a letter from Allan Jackson to his wife Mrs. G.A. Jackson in Montreal, a map of London, a London Underground map, two London transport day tickets, and several pamphlets from various sites in London.
