  • Large nation comprising the Amazon basin in the north and the Brazilian plateau in south. The area was inhabited by Tupí-Guaraní peoples, who were semi-nomadic and lived in scattered settlements, when it was charted by the Portuguese ca. 1500. European colonization began in 1530. The official language is Portuguese.

Love Camera

Item is a black, disposable point-and-shoot camera intended for amateur photographers. It also comes with instructions on how to get your particular brand of film developed and an envelope to mail it in. The Love camera was first developed in 1973 by a Canadian company that originally called it the "Lure", selling it under the name "Love" in the United States. The camera was sold to the Brazilian manufacturer Sonora Industrial in 1981. While the company made a few improvements, the basic design remained simple.

Seven Wonders of the World, View-master Reel

Item is a set of wheel type stereographs that depict the wonders of the world. Each wheel focuses on a different set of wonders: ancient, modern, or natural and the list describing what each wheel portrays is on the back of the packet. Also comes with a 16 page color illustrated booklet.

This yellow paper photo album, "Mercury deluxe Album Snapshots", is printed in blue, and held by a blue plastic binder. The photographs show examples of early-20th century residential architecture, and are captioned "Santos (Brasil) 1950 new suburb" and "2nd house we lived in, in Cuba."
