Item is a cream coloured card with vignetted portrait of a woman with her curled hair tied back in a bow on top of her head. She wears a light dress with darker stripes around the shoulders and lace collar with cameo. On verso, elaborate purple stamp with cherub and flowers and the text "S. PARK,/ ARTIST,/ BRANTFORD, Ont./ All Negatives for Photographs/ preserved - ready at any time/ for additional copies, by/ mail or otherwise."

Image is of a hillside garden in summer--treetops, smokestacks, and rooftops stretch to the horizon. The thin frame is gold-painted wood, with glass, and on the back a sticker reads "Stedman's Book Store Limited, Brantford, Picture Framing and Fine Stationary."
Item consists of an oval photograph mounted on a black, textured card with the words "J. L. Barnes/ 149 DALHOUSIE ST./ BRANTFORD, ONT." embossed at the bottom right. Photograph shows a row of men seated, the one in the centre on a high backed gothic style chair, and a second row of men standing behind them.
