Interior views of the eating area of a café and restaurant in the York Quay Centre at Toronto's Harbourfront Park. Materials inlcude rough sawn, bleached wood, glazed steel sash and textured rubber flooring, enhanced by batiked cotton and sailcloth banners for a nautical effect. Photographs and contact prints adhered to lined 8 1/2 x 11 notepaper. The images were printed in the Sept 1980 issue of Canadian Architect magazine.

The International Dining Room was a facililty for third year hospitality students to demonstrate their management and culinary skills. The room was open September to May and served lunch, from various regions and countries, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. At times they served dinners, and morning snacks as well.
The sub-series contains memos, brochures, schedules, reports, and menus.

Inside, a photograph of 4 men and 1 woman seated around a table, in the background several mirrored walls. The diners have all signed the bottom of the card and dated it. A TTC streetar can be seen exiting the station adjacent to the restaurant in one of the photographs. Photographs of the exterior of the building, as well as interiors of L'Escapade and Caf' Conc' (dining areas). The 38 floor hotel is known today as the Marriott Chateau Champlain Hotel.
The interior of the hotel was designed by David T Williams (New York) and Earle A Morrison (Vancouver).
File consists of 27 images of the interior of the Basilico Ristorante, located at 5100 Rutherford Road in Vaughan, Ontario. Views include dining area, bar, and table settings. Interior design by Burdifilek Designs.
