Walter Pitman's files

Sub-series contains files collected and created by Walter G. Pitman during his presidency at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. Walter Pitman was Ryerson president from 1975 - 1980. Files contain reports, minutes of meetings, agreements, correspondence and other items related to Ryerson's operations.

Open College Canadian History courses (various iterations)

This file contains audio cassettes and textual records related to the Open College course: in Canadian History (Search for a Nation (A History of the Canadian People)

Textual records include transcriptions of source interviews used in the finished radio-based course. Audio cassettes in this file include both finished production tapes of the actual broadcasted class and audio cassettes containing source material interviews with numerous historians and authors.

International Dining Room

The International Dining Room was a facililty for third year hospitality students to demonstrate their management and culinary skills. The room was open September to May and served lunch, from various regions and countries, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. At times they served dinners, and morning snacks as well.
The sub-series contains memos, brochures, schedules, reports, and menus.

Society of Hosts - Ryerson Chapter

The Society of Hosts was and international organization for students in Hotel and Hospitality programs. Ryerson had a chapter of the organization, and all of its Hotel (HRIA) and later Hospitality (HTM) students were members. The society does not appear to exist any longer.
The sub-series consists of correspondence and newsletters from Ryerson's chapter of Society of Hosts.

School of Child and Youth Care Program Review 2009-2011

Sub-series contains 2 copies of the Periodic Program Review for the School of Child and Youth Care for 2009-2011. Included with the report are copies of the peer review team report and response. The Periodic program review itself contains the self study report and appendices (faculty curriculum vitaes, course outlines, and documentation).

Convocation videos

File contains DVDs created for each convocation ceremony and given to graduates. As of 2017, the convocation videos were no longer made into DVDs. The electronic copy of the ceremony videos were passed on to the Archives for retention.

Wellesley World magazine

Series consists of copies of the Wellesley World magazine created the the Wellesley Hospital with news and stories about the Hospital, its, staff, and its auxiliary. Also included in the magazine was a page called "The Lion's Roar" which featured news and information from the Wellesley School of Nursing Alumnae Association. The magazine was published four times yearly.

Sub-series contain photographs of the various aspects of the Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing's graduation week. Included are graduate composites, photographs of the ceremony itself, candid after reception shots, as well as photographs of various graduation week events such as the mother-daughter tea, breakfast, and Hospital walk-through by the graduates.
