Statue of Lenin, seated and holding a rolled paper

Small statue, composed of a metal alloy, shows the figure of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin seated on what appears to be a tree stump. He holds a rolled paper in his left hand. A piece of paper, probably the manufacturer's stamp, is adhered to the bottom of one of the statues. The second statue has glue residue in the same location, indicating a similar paper was adhered but removed. The cast was created in 1986. It cost 17 rubles.

Lenin is holding the Soviet newspaper Pravda in his hand. The editor was A. Gromov, the artistic editor was A. Pastukhov and the technical editor was T. Onosovskaya.

Red cover album bound by blue and white braided string. Layers of cover are separating. Black pages with photographs held in with photo corners. Handwritten notations in white ink. Interleaving is pretty brittle, torn and cracked.

Album includes photographs showing the 1955/56 military tour of duty. Photographs are of Singapore, training boats, the H.M.A.S. Tobruk, Lok Ma Chau and the October 1856 riots, camp, rugby, swimming, water polo, the railway, Hong Kong, Malaya, and ends with some photographs taken in Australia. Seven Wonders of the World, View-master Reel

Item is a set of wheel type stereographs that depict the wonders of the world. Each wheel focuses on a different set of wonders: ancient, modern, or natural and the list describing what each wheel portrays is on the back of the packet. Also comes with a 16 page color illustrated booklet.

Set of Matrioshkas painted with Soviet political figures

Painted wooden nesting or Matrioshkas dolls of Russian Communist leaders. Mikhail Gorbachev is the first and largest doll, inside which in succession are the leaders: Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev, Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, Semyon Budyonny, Lavrentiy Beria, Sverdlov and Sailor Zeleznyak, leaders potentially of the Russian Revolution. The bottom of the Gorbachev doll has an inscription. Nine dolls in total. The Gorbachev doll has writing in Russian and English with the following messages: "Perestroika! Democracy! Glasnost! Gorbachev, the Father of the Region! USSR + USA = Love! I love Gorbi!" He is holding a set of papers entitled "New Thinking" and Gorbachev is listed as the author. The Brezhnev has Russian and English writing that reads: "Glory to the CPSU! Dear Leonid Ilyich! Party mind, honour and conscience! The party and the people are united! Russkaya Russian Vodka." The Khrushchev doll depicts him at a United Nations podium and he is holding a shoe. The writing around him reads: "Corn! Socialism! Cosmos! Accommodations!" The Stalin doll is holding a pipe and it reads: "Great VOKD! Father of the People!" The Lenin doll depicts him wearing a red ribbon and writing on the doll reads: "Peace to the People! Revolution!" The Beria doll depicts him holding a newspaper with the word "Business" on it and he's wearing a red armband with the letters TsK, which stand for Central Committee.

The Lenin doll is wearing tha red bow and is holding the Soviet newspaper Truth.

Seagull 4B-1

Item consists of a 120 twin-lens reflex camera in its original purple packaging, including the original instruction booklet. The camera uses 120 roll film for 12 frames on 6 x 6 cm exposures or 16 frames on 4.5 x 6 cm exposures. The camera has two f1:3.5/75 mm lens and a 1-300 shutter.

Series consists of sculptures and reliefs of Lenin, as well as a piece of marble from Lenin's mausoleum. Media include metal, wood, bronze, plaster, stone, plastic, glass, porcelain, and clay.

Sawyer's Mark IV

Item consists of a Sawyer's Mark IV 4x4 twin lens reflex camera. It has a Topcor 1:2.8, f=6cm lens, a Sawyer's Japan Ltd. Seikosha-MXL shutter, and a Toko 1:2.8 f=6cm viewing lens. The camera is the same as the Primo Jr, and was also made by To-kyo- Ko-gaku in Japan, but rebranded as Sawyer's Mark IV for the Sawyer's company in Portland Oregan. It was released one year after the Rolleiflex Baby Grey, and is an example of one of the first 4x4 TLR models made in Japan.

This file contains a photographic print of the Russia Hotel under construction, with the 17th century church of St George in the background. The hotel was designed by architect Dmitry Chechulin and closed in 2006.

Ricohmatic 225

Item is a Ricohmatic 225 in case. It is a 6x6 twin lens reflex camera made in Japan by Ricoh from 1959 to 1962. It is a synthesis of all the best technologies of the time. Used no. 120 film, but an optional kit was available to allow for the use of 135 films. Features an uncoupled selenium light meter, EVS numbering system with two ranges, Ricoh Viewer f 3.2/80mm lens/viewer, Seikosha SLV shutter with speeds 1-1/500 sec + B, aperture of 1/3.5 to 1/22, manual focusing, and crank film advance.

Ricoh Golden 16

Item is a subminiature camera for 10 x 14 mm exposures on 16mm film in special cassettes. The camera has a removable lens system and includes a Riken Ricoh F1:3.5/25mm and Riken Telescopic lens F1:5.6/40mm in original wooden box and a box of Golden Ricoh Film in cartridge. The Golden Ricoh was originally names the Golden Steky, both models were higher end miniature cameras and were electroplated in gold.

Item is one of the later generations of digital still cameras that also included a feature that enabled limited length moving picture recording (including audio), depending on the size of Memory Card installed. The Resolution is 3.2 Megapixels. There is a Macro setting to 2 inches. Camera uses 4AA batteries.

Posters series

Series is made up of large and small posters, all featuring rallying slogans for the Soviet Party, with such slogans as We Must Try to Raise the Party is Authority Higher, Higher and Higher,The Party Intellect, Glory and Conscience of Our Epoch, Listening to You Comrade. Most are illustrated with the face of Vladimir Illych Lenin. There is also a selection of citations issued by the Soviet Party and presented to individuals in honour of their work or military performance.

One poster enveloped in plastic wrap with foam core backing, and three loosely rolled posters, show the image of Vladimir Illyich Lenin in grey and white, almost like a black and white photograph of Lenin. Item is a pink carte de visite with note handwritten in black ink at bottom, "Mrs Day, Singh, India 1443". Photograph shows an Indian woman in sari seated in a wicker chair holding a sleeping baby in ruffled, Western-style dress. On verso, in pencil, "Bible woman/ Balbia(?)." In a different hand, "1.00". and again, different and at bottom of card "1443".

Item is a automatic, snapshot camera with built-in flash for instant 3.81 x 2.54 cm instant photographs on Polaroid iZone 200 film. An inexpensive moel with simple features, mechanical single-speed shutter, 50mm lens with a fixed focus and three aperture settings (indoors, cloudy and sunny). This camera is primarily to used for portraits taken at distances between 2 and 8 feet (0.6 and 2.4 meters). The camera was marketed mainly to younger consumers, as a kit with 6 packs of film.

The face of a young Lenin is depicted in the circle in the form of a print on paper, with plastic covering and metal framing ring. There is a metal pin clasp attached to the back.
