Glass slide, handpainted over B&W slide. No wood frame. Black frame with gold letters "Edward Van Altena 71-79W. 45th St., N.Y.C." Slide is numbered 54 in the series. Black paper around glass edges. Not as heavily painted as the other slides. Some of the black & white image shows through, like it was never hand painted. Image is a scene of people in carriages, on horses, a barn, a ditch, some sheep.
