The Great Annual Outhouse Race trophy

Ryerson teams won this trophy twice in the early 1970s in the Great Annual Outhouse Race organized by the leadership and civic organization, the Toronto Jaycees. Ryerson’s team of 20 men led by Dave Newbigging won the race held during halftime of the College Bowl at the C.N.E. on November 23, 1974. The College Bowl teams consisted of Ryerson, University of Toronto, York University, and University of Western Ontario. Thereafter, the Jaycees abandoned the race with Ryerson continuing to hold the trophy.

Ryerson Rams vs Varsity Baby Blues football game film

A 16mm black and white film of a football game between the Ryerson Rams and the Varsity Baby Blues at the University of Toronto's Varsity Stadium on October 21, 1959. The game was won 47-0 by the Blues. A report on the game can be found in the October 23, 1959 edition of The Ryersonian.

File contains promotional images of various sporting and nature activities, including fishing, bull fighting, a deer in a sunset, baby birds in a nest, a white dove, a dog looking through a hole in a fence, a deer and fawn, and football. Most images are of bull fighting. One caption included with a bull fighting image reads: "When a camera incorporates a motor drive as the new Kodak's 300MD does, it only seems right to explore the potential in a series of pictures."
