Media clippings and transcriptions related to the employee strike of 1974

File includes compiled newspaper clippings and transcriptions of radio and television broadcasts related to the Kodak employee strike of 1974. The strike was the first in Kodak Canada's history and was instigated by members of the International Chemical Workers Union (ICWU), which had organized at Kodak Canada thirty years earlier. The strike lasted 7 weeks and affected over 1000 employees. The clippings, divided into weeks of the strike, were likely compiled by A. A. Bolté, Kodak Canada's media spokesperson at the time.

Daily production activity logbooks

File contains two logbooks detailing the daily production activities of Kodak Canada from 1947 to 1955 and from 1960 to 1962. The latter logbook, labelled as the "Paper Ctg. Day Book," records the activities of the paper manufacturing department of Kodak Canada. Though unidentified, the former logbook likely pertains to the same department.

Kodak 13-period and 12-month calendars

File contains Kodak-issued portable 13-period calendars from 1936 to 1989 and 12-month calendars from 1990 to 1993. The 13-period calendar or "International fixed calendar" was devised by Moses B. Cotsworth in 1902 and instituted at Kodak from 1928 to 1989. Some years missing.

Ronald C. Morrison managerial addresses

File contains scripts of addresses delivered by Kodak Canada president and general manager, Ronald C. Morrison, in 1988 and 1992. Addresses include: "KCI 1988 management report" delivered on March 10, 1988; "Kodak Canada analysts presentation" delivered at the annual general meeting on May 11, 1988"; and "New compacts for Canadian competitiveness" delivered on March 25, 1992.
