The document was likely compiled by Kenneth Winter during his tenure as secretary of Kodak Canada from 1960 to 1976.

File consists of typescript notes detailing the day-to-day operations of Kodak Canada. The notes were compiled on an ongoing basis by the company historian from January 4, 1964 to January 28, 1984. Subject matter pertains to all aspects of the company's corporate life, including plant construction, corporate policies, production schedules and procedures, employee activities, and more.

File includes annual reports published by Eastman Kodak Company in 1902 and from 1955 to 2007. Some reports include the notice of the annual meeting, proxy statement, and shareholder letters. File is missing annual reports from 1956, 1963, and 1985.

Addresses include: "KCI 1988 management report" delivered on March 10, 1988; "Kodak Canada analysts presentation" delivered at the annual general meeting on May 11, 1988"; and "New compacts for Canadian competitiveness" delivered on March 25, 1992. The latter address refers to a report of the same name published by Kodak Canada Inc. and is accompanied by biographies, in English and French, of Morrison and of the report's authors, Joseph R. D'Cruz and Alan M. Rugman.

File contains job procedures and reference materials used by members of the Kodak Canada department handling Ektaprint copier-dupicators ca. 1975. File includes procedures for adding or making changes to the department's customer database, transporting equipment, prospecting new clients, and others. Also includes lists of copier equipment codes, and other ephemera.

File consists of three cardboard slipcases containing human resources brochures published between 1980 and 1988 as reference material for Kodak Canada employees. File also includes generic corporate letters welcoming employees to Kodak Canada and providing further information about employee benefits.

File contains: pamphlets produced for the first three Kodak Athletic Association annual picnics (1919-1921), as well as 1 leaf from the March 1945 issue of Kodak magazine (vol.1, no. 2) showing photos of the Kodak Heights badminton club and softball team.

Because the Museum was closely associated with the Corporate Communications department, a similar file of Communication Reference Material was likely also consulted by employees of the Museum.

File includes shipping tickets, invoices and letter tracers documenting sales by Canadian Kodak Sales Ltd. to Trail Camera Crafts Ltd. in Trail B.C., Canada.

File consists of correspondence, orders, contracts and technical drawings related to the construction of a railway line and steel trestle connecting Canadian Pacific rail lines to the Kodak Heights Powerhouse (Building 1) between 1913 and 1915. Correspondents include members of Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd., Eastman Kodak Company, Canadian Pacific Railway, the Standard Steel Construction Co. of Welland, Ontario, and C.E. Deakin, Ltd. of Mount Dennis, Ontario. The Standard Steel Construction Co. was contracted to design and construct the trestle. C.E. Deakin Ltd. was contracted to perform a number of tasks in the construction of Kodak Heights, including driving piles beneath trestle footings. The project was executed under the supervision of C.K. Flint (a.k.a. C.O. Flint), a former employee at Kodak Park in Rochester, who later became Engineer in Charge at Canadian Kodak Co. Ltd. The trestle was erected in October of 1914.

File contains tenders, technical drawings, and inspection reports from 1914 to 1915 related to the construction of water tanks at Kodak Heights. Correspondents include Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd., Robert W. Hunt & Co., Ltd, Engineers, and Toronto Structual Steel Co., Ltd., who tendered a proposal to complete the work in conjunction with Toronto Iron Works, Ltd.

File contains correspondence and contracts from 1914 to 1937 related to the installation of doors and windows in buildings at Kodak Heights. Also includes a detailed letter regarding paper drying systems at various Kodak plants, a discussion pertinent to the company's window installation schedule. Correspondents include Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd., Eastman Kodak Company, National Skylight and Ventilation Co. (Rochester), The A.B. Ormsby Company, Ltd. (Toronto), Steel & Radiation, Ltd. (Toronto), Architectural Bronze & Irons Works (Toronto), and Associated Factory Mutual Fire Insurance Companies.

File contains correspondents and construction schedules pertaining to contracts completed by the C.E. Deakin Company, Ltd. of Mount Dennis, Ontario from 1914 to 1916. The company was contracted to perform a number of tasks in the construction of Kodak Heights, including work on the Power house (building #1) and the railway trestle. File includes correspondence with the Canadian Inspection & Testing Laboratories, which performed testing on cement used by the C.E. Deakin, as well as with T. Pringle & Sons, which appears to have collaborated with C.E. Deakin on at least one contract.

File includes miscellaneous correspondence between Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd. and Eastman Kodak Company pertaining to construction, maintenance, and operations of Kodak Heights between 1913 and 1940. Topics include land surveying and levelling, building insurance, flooring, structural steel, and equipment and materials handling procedures. File also contains orders of equipment made by Canadian Kodak through the Kodak Park Works Department, as well as technical drawings related to land surveys of the Kodak Heights property.

File contains records pertaining to the facilities of Eastman Kodak Stores, Montreal from 1934 to 1956. File includes documents pertaining to inspections of the Craig Street office, including documents and technical drawings related to the building's structural integrity and to a fire that occurred in an adjacent builiding in 1943.

These events include an open house held October 14-15, 1971, a Kodak retirees tour held October 20, 1971, and a dealer night held November 17, 1971. File includes invitations, promotional pamphlets, meeting minutes, posters, and other ephemera.

File contains records related to the planning and execution of an open house held at Kodak Canada's Brampton facilities in 1977. The event celebrated the completion of the paper finishing building (building #35) and was held October 14 - 15, 1971. File includes: notes, correspondence, memos, meeting minutes, budgets, site plans, invitations, posters, and pamphlets. File also includes a dossier, divided into subjects, providing a detailed de-briefing of the event.

File contains promotional images of people riding bicycles in the rain, trees with narrow trunks, graduation ceremonies, and sculptures. All include captions, such as a close up of leaves: "Just about all of the new Kodak S Series cameras provide ways of adding flash to pictures taken in bright sunlight. The Kodak S500AF camera automatically fires its flash to lighten shadows."

File contains a variety of promotional images, including beauty portraits, city landscapes, desert landscapes, Kodak cameras, sand dune shorelines, and goats. Many include captions, such as a print of a group of girls at a picnic table "If you receive an invitation to an outdoor gathering you cannot attend, you might send a Kodak Fling 35 camera in your place. Other attendees can use the camera-film combination easily to capture some of the merriment in pictures."

In Focus was a roughly bimonthly internal publication intended to communicate the activities of Kodak Canada and its employees. In Focus ran from May 1986 to April 1994, at which time it was succeeded by the publication Kodakery Canada. File includes vol. 4, no. 1 (Jan. 1989) to vol. 9, no. 4 (Apr. 1994).

The full lineage of internal publications for Kodak Canada employees ran as follows: At Kodak Heights was succeeded by Kodak in 1936. In 1955, the name was changed to Canadian Kodakery. In 1975, the name was changed again to Kodak Canada News. In 1986, this publication was succeeded by In Focus; and in 1994, the name changed again to its final title, Kodakery Canada.

File consists of bound issues of The Kodak Salesman, published by Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd., from vol. 2, no. 12 (Jan. 1917) to vol. 15, no. 11 (Dec. 1929).

File consists of bound and unbound issues of The Photo Finisher, published by Eastman Kodak Company, from 1927 to 1930 and from 1946 to 1959. File contains published informational and instructional booklets regarding home film-making using Kodak equipment and supplies. Topics include: exposure; Cine-Kodak motion picture cameras and lenses storage and cleaning of motion picture film; shooting and processing PLUS-X, TRI-X and Super X films; editing and directing home movies.

File includes guides on general topics, such as nature or war photography, published between 1928 and 1985. Most guides in series are published by Eastman Kodak Company.

File contains catalogues, brochures, price lists and other promotional materials featuring Graflex cameras and accessories. Catalogues span the years 1925 to 1939, with some years missing. Graflex cameras were manufactured by the Folmer & Schwing Division of Eastman Kodak Co. The Folmer & Schwing Company was acquired by Eastman Kodak in 1905, forming the Folmer & Schwing Division of Eastman Kodak in 1907. In 1926, Eastman Kodak Co. divested itself of this division and the Folmer Graflex Corporation began operating independently.

File contains 2 illustrated catalogues from years 1911 and 1932/33 featuring Kodak cameras and accessories.

File consists of 2 price lists for Canadian Kodak products, including cameras and other photographic accessories.

File consists of price lists for Eastman Kodak's range of photographic chemicals, including fixers, developers, toners, dyes, adhesives, and others, as well as supplemental price lists for the serial Eastman Organic Chemicals.

File consists of three 3-ring binders, created between 1929 and 1943, containing detailed, illustrated instructions and equipment lists designed to serve as reference material for those responsible for repairing Kodak still and motion picture cameras. Information contained within the binders was created and distributed on a subscription basis by Eastman Kodak Company. Subscribers would receive periodic updates of information, which could be added to the binders over time.

File contains two logbooks detailing the daily production activities of Kodak Canada from 1947 to 1955 and from 1960 to 1962. The latter logbook, labelled as the "Paper Ctg. Day Book," records the activities of the paper manufacturing department of Kodak Canada. Though unidentified, the former logbook likely pertains to the same department.
