Some have captions enclosed, such as an image of a girl holding up a maple leaf with a caption that reads: "The essence of late fall is captured bin this one golden leaf. With it, the wily photographer has also obtained a charming unselconscious portrait of the little girl." Some duplicates.

Children's wish foundation of canada

Item is a painted black brass plaque, mounted on a brass plaque, mounted on wood. File consists of 13 collective bargaining agreements made between 1966 and 1997. Agreements for the years 1966 to 1974 are made between Kodak Canada and Local 159 of the International Chemical Workers' Union. Agreements for the years 1978 to 1997 are made between Kodak Canada and the Employees' Association of Kodak Canada. Kodak Canada employees were later represented by the Steelworkers' Union.

Colour slides

Sub-series contains 33,281 colour slides, 35 mm format, organized by two main sections: the first is a working collection of reference slides formerly used by the company and arranged alphabetically by subject. The second set of slides was formerly part of the company's archive and was located throughout the different files. The names of the files that the slides originated from are recorded in the Notes field of each record.

The first part of the colour slide collection is arranged alphabetically as was its indended order as a working refence collection used by Kodak Canada. The second part of the collection is loosely arranged by the previous index associated with the collection, with the individual file numbers and index titles referenced in the Notes field of each record.

Commercial portraits of children

File contains promotional group portraits of children participating in outdoor activities, including sleighing, camping, tree climbing and Easter egg hunting. Many are enclosed with captions that feature photography technique pointers, such as a print of a row of toddlers sitting outside on a bench with a caption that reads: "The photographer saw this fascinating line-up and was quick to get their picture before the children noticed."

Commercial portraits of children and photography

File includes commercial prints of children blowing bubbles, sitting on stairs, and flushing the toilet. Some have captions enclosed, such as one of a young girl observing a photograph that reads "Watching her own picture develop before her eyes will delight and fascinate your child and help make her an interested model as well."

File contains commercial images of children attending birthday parties, wearing costumes, at weddings and with family. Some have captions enclosed, such as an image of children wearing fake moustaches with a caption that reads "If you want pictures in which children aren't looking directly at the camera and your subjects aren't cooperating, have them pretend that your camera is a "monster" that will get them if they look at it."

Communications reference material

Sub-sub-series contains documents used as reference material for Kodak Canada's Corporate Communications department and also potentially by the Kodak Canada Heritage Collection and Museum between approximately 1970 to 2005. Sub-sub-series contains articles photocopied from various publications or printed from websites, including articles published by Kodak--such as articles from Kodak magazine--and articles published externally. Sub-sub-series also includes: mission statements, organizational charts and other strategic documents for both Kodak Canada Inc. and Eastman Kodak Co.; print-outs and photocopies of Kodak Customer Service pamphlets; and reproduced advertisements and photographic images. Because the Corporate Communicatons department was closely associated with the Kodak Heritage Collection and Museum, a similar file of Museum Reference Material was likely also consulted by employees of Corporate Communications.

Sub-sub-series contains records related to Kodak Canada's community and corporate sponsorship activities from the mid-1980s until the early-2000s. This includes: awards and certificates received by Kodak Canada; records related to Kodak's involvement in the Creative Artists in the Schools program; a Kodak School Programs "Focus on Education" package; records related to the Kodak Chair in Photography at Ryerson; proceedings from "Education and Work: the International Conference Linking Research and Practice", sponsored by Kodak; a document from A Year in Motion soliciting Kodak sponsorship; records related to the Photographic Historical Society of Canada; and a flyer for a retrospective exhibition for PhotoSensitive, a photographic artist collective sponsored by Kodak.

Contracts and correspondence between Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd. and Canadian Kodak Sales Limited

File includes original contracts, dated December 28, 1938, and correspondence (1940-1964) between Canadian Kodak Co., Ltd. and Canadian Kodak Sales Limited. Contracts pertain to the sale and transfer of vending rights of Kodak products from Canadian Kodak Co. to Canadian Kodak Sales Limited. Correspondence pertain to the terms of the original agreements. Canadian Kodak Sales Ltd. was incorporated on December 1, 1938 and acted as the distributing agent of Kodak products in Canada, thereby limiting Canadian Kodak's role to one of strict manufacturing.

Corporate communications, public relations, and marketing records

Sub-series contains records related to the production of internal and external corporate communications, public relations activities, and marketing between approximately 1900 and 2005. Kodak Canada's Communications department changed its name to Corporate Communications between 1982 and 1986, then changed it again to Corporate communications and Public Affairs in 1988. Records include notes, correspondence, advertising mock-ups and clippings, press releases and press kits, communications-related invoices, drafts of press releases, articles, and advertising copy, and other ephemera. Records pertain to the creation of advertising and publicity, event planning, community engagement, and corporate sponsorship. There was significant crossover between the activities and personnel of the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs department and those of the Kodak Heritage Collection and Museum, particularly surrounding Kodak Canada's centennial celebrations in 1999.
