Flexible film production

File contains copy prints featuring images with the caption: "In 1889, George Eastman introduced Flexible Film in rolls, a lightweight, non-breakable substitute for glass. The transparent nitro-cellulose roll film base was cast on theses 200-foot long tables."

George Eastman and Thomas Alva Edison

File contains copy prints featuring an image of George Eastman and Thomas Edison. Caption adhered to versos read: "George Eastman, (left) and friend Thomas Alva Edison, early collaborators. Edison purchased one of Eastman's first "snapshot" cameras. The continuous roll of film it held became the basis for Edison's invention of his first motion picture camera."

Graflex catalogues

File contains catalogues, brochures, price lists and other promotional materials featuring Graflex cameras and accessories. Catalogues span the years 1925 to 1939, with some years missing. Graflex cameras were manufactured by the Folmer & Schwing Division of Eastman Kodak Co. The Folmer & Schwing Company was acquired by Eastman Kodak in 1905, forming the Folmer & Schwing Division of Eastman Kodak in 1907. In 1926, Eastman Kodak Co. divested itself of this division and the Folmer Graflex Corporation began operating independently.

Includes the Kodak Print-Exposure Computer (in envelope), Kodak Indoor Exposure Guide (2 copies), Snapshot Kodaguide, Kodak Development/Enlarging Dial, Kodak Projection Calculator, Chimifoto Ornano Optical Test Target, and Radiant Screen Finder. The five former items, all published by Eastman Kodak or its subsidiary, Kodak AG, contain rotating volvelles intended to guide users in the choice of film, shutter speed, and f-number for a variety of subjects and lighting situations, to help with photographic enlarging and development, and to aid in determining projection distance.
