The sub-series consists of photographic images taken at campus and in the general vicinity with subjects of formal protraits, poeple in groups, visitors, convocation, athletic centre, campus scenes in spring and winter.

The file holds photographs of campus scenes, primarily of buildings and building details, including winter scenes; parking lot at Gould and Dalhousie and Church streets prior to 2004 construction of engineering building; bicycles; and student pranks.

The file holds portrait photographs of Stephen Foster, Russell Jolliffe, Terry Grier, Ruth Grier, Claude Lajeunesse, Roger Moore, Allan Slaight, Pamela Wallin, and others for promotion in Ryerson publications.

The images are of students, campus and one of the Yonge and Dundas streets and Toronto Eaton Centre.

Three silver medals. The silver medal was the second award presented annually to students who combined outstanding academic achievement with extensive participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. It was discontinued in 1967 in favour of awarding only the gold medal to a student from each academic division. Each medal is 4.5cm in diameter. Face of medal: “Ryerson Institute of Technology” and a relief of Egerton Ryerson’s profile. Back of medal: laurel wreath relief and “General Proficiency Medal”.

Series consists of copies of the FORUM newsletter published by the Office of Community Relations. They were published throughout the year from September to June or July. Topics included Ryerson specific news, staffing updates and staff and alumni notices. This series contains volumes 13-17.
The final hard copy edition of the FORUM was published October 2005 - moving to an electronic format with its next issue. It was replaced by an online email newsletter Ryerson Today, on October 19, 2009.

File contains a cassette audio recording of the grand opening of the Ryerson Athletic Centre (RAC).

The Fan Club, Mechanical Engineering instructor built an industrial fan balance testing device, and an all-terrain vehicle designed and constructed by a team of second year Mechanical Engineering students, a fuel-efficient vehicle and photos of the wind tunnel installation were all projects that were initiated in 1984. Mechanical Engineering students present a picture of the 1986 Mini-Baja East All-Terrain Vehicle competition teams to President Brian Segal. There are photos of aerospace students designing and experimenting with control circuit arrangements and a professor and student testing a frozen model for actual stress distribution utilizing the Photoelastic Technique.

The one color photo is a general view of the Absorption Tower, top of the Saturation Tower and collection device. Miscellaneous photos of students in the chemistry and biology lab. A photo of Dr. Robert Miller, Director of Technical Affairs, Ortho Pharmaceutical Ltd. Barbara Zymiak is using a pilot plant scale spray dryer to investigate the conditions for drying coffee. , David Grice using an atomic absorption spectrophotometer to estimate metal ions, Renee Cormier is using a microtone to cut thin sections of root tips and the team of Laboratory Science analyses various methods of measuring the physical properties of chemical processes, these photos were taken in the early 80's. A photo that appeared in Ryerson Engineering News was photos of Phil Renouf, John White, Doug Spartks and Ted Wisz (Dean of Technology).

Applied Computer Science 1984 -1986. Black and white photos of students interacting with instructors and technology. In one photo students are busy programming mathematical algorithms into the software and analyzing the interrelationship of the image produced.
