At this time he was acclaimed to the Ryerson Board of Governors. The photographed was used again Jan. 11, 1985 when he was an official observer with Canadian delegation to the 8th Plenary Assembly of the International Telegram and Telephone Consultative committee (CCIT), of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
