Century Cameras / Century Cameras Division, Eastman Kodak Company

Item is an illustrated catalogue of Century cameras and accessories for 1908. Eastman Kodak Co. purchased the Century Camera Co. in 1903. In 1907, the company became the Century Camera Division of Eastman Kodak Co. and was then subsumbed under the Folmer & Schwing division in 1908. Century soon continued on only in the cameras that continued to bear its name.

Premo camera and accessories / Rochester Optical Division, Eastman Kodak Company

Item is an illustrated catalogue of Premo cameras, lenses, lamps, and other accessories. The Premo trademark operated under the Rochester Optical and Camera Company, which was purchased by Eastman Kodak Co. in 1907. At this time, the company became the Rochester and Optical Division of Eastman Kodak, changing to the Rochester Optical Department in 1918 before disappearing in 1922.

One pamphlet detailing Hawk-Eye cameras for sale at Gall & Lemke in Union Square. The Hawk-Eye camera was first produced by the Boston Camera Company until 1890, when the Blair Camera Company purchased the company. Eastman Kodak then purchased the Blair company in 1907, and continued to produce the popular Hawk-eye models.

Cover design is printed in black ink, shows a woman holding C.P. Stirn's patented vest camera. Various other cameras and slide apparatus are also shown. Back cover advertises a panoramic camera called "The Wonder", producing pictures 18 inches long. The catalogue is a reproduction.
