The Alumni Achievement Awards program was inaugurated in 1998 on Ryerson Polytechnic University's 50th Anniversary. There were initially two categories - Alumni Award of Distinction and Outstanding Recent graduate. The Alumni Award of Distinction is given for professional achievement. The Outstanding Recent Graduate Award is given an alumnus who brought honour to Ryerson withing 10 years of graduation. The winners are gifted with a medal created with funding from the Board of Directors of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in honour of Mr. Sharpe's induction into the Business Hall of Fame in 1998. The award was re-named for Mr. Sharpe in 2002. In 2008 the Outstanding Alumni Volunteer Award was introduced, recognizing alumni who have provided outstanding volunteer assistance to the University. In 2013 the Outstanding International Alumni Award was introduced, recognizing the alumnus that has demonstrated exceptional accomplishment in their chosen profession, exceptional service in community affairs, and has contributed to the advancement of Ryerson University. (Course code COCR 932) This course was developed as a professional required course for a new part-time degree completion program in Justice Studies. It was inaugurated in 1992 and housed in Ryerson’s Faculty of Arts, Department of Psychology. It was developed by historian Desmond Glynn and based on extensive research into existing degree programs in criminal justice and criminology with the objective to create a degree completion program for graduates of community college-based diploma programs in corrections and security.

Ryer's Inn was organized and presented by students in the Hospitality and Tourism Management program. It was modeled after the Cornell University event "Ezra Cornell Hotel". Its purpose was to show members of the Hospitality Industry what Ryerson's program had to offer by showcasing its' students. The event is completely organized and executed by student's in the program, with faculty supervision. It's inaugural night was held February 28, 1981. Subseries consists of photographs taken at two events - 1981 and 1983.

The International Dining Room was a facililty for third year hospitality students to demonstrate their management and culinary skills. The room was open September to May and served lunch, from various regions and countries, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. At times they served dinners, and morning snacks as well. The sub-series contains memos, brochures, schedules, reports, and menus.
Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management
The Hospitality and Tourism Delta Hotels-Sheraton Corporation Hotel Computer Training Laboratory was officially opened on November 12, 1981. The laboratory's purpose was front of house hotel training furnished with an identical computer system used by medium and large hotel chains. The lab was located in the old business building at 285 Victoria Street. The sub-series contains newsclippings, press releases, and objects related to the training lab.

The Society of Hosts was and international organization for students in Hotel and Hospitality programs. Ryerson had a chapter of the organization, and all of its Hotel (HRIA) and later Hospitality (HTM) students were members. The society does not appear to exist any longer. The sub-series consists of correspondence and newsletters from Ryerson's chapter of Society of Hosts.

The International Issues Discussion (IID) series is a student-led forum designed to engage all members of the university community on major events and issues in contemporary global affairs through reasoned, objective, and scholarly discourse. It is a strictly non-partisan, unaffiliated, and apolitical group that welcomes all students to get involved and further their understanding of the world today.The IID was founded in 2005 by two Ryerson students and two faculty members, Dr. Arne Kislenko (History) and Dr. Dale Carl (Business). Sub-series contains textual materials created for convocation ceremonies. Included are tickets, instruction, and programs for each ceremony. As of 2014 the tickets for the ceremonies went digital and as of 2020 programmes are no longer printed and tickets are now done by QR code.
File contains DVDs created for each convocation ceremony and given to graduates. As of 2017, the convocation videos were no longer made into DVDs. The electronic copy of the ceremony videos were passed on to the Archives for retention.
