Biographical history

Tom Kilner is a Professional Engineer and Professor Emeritus in the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science at Ryerson University. Kilner earned his BA and MSc from the University of Waterloo and his PhD from the University of Toronto, completing his dissertation on the use of biomaterials in the medical industry. Kilner began teaching at Ryerson in 1968. He was Assistant Chair of the Department from 1997 until he retired to Emeritus status in 2004.
