History

Robert Teigrob received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Winnepeg, a Master of Arts in U.S. History from the State University of New York at Albany, and a PhD in American Studies from the University of New Mexico. Areas of research include international relations, war, decolonization, migration, race, culture, and international organizations and law. Teigrob has been a faculty member in the Department of History at Ryerson University since 2008. Before coming to Ryerson, he taught at Nipissing University, the University of Toronto, and Central New Mexico Community College. He has served as an archivist with the Hudson's Bay Company Archives and the Minnesota Historical Society and has worked as a cultural resources consultant. In 2010, Teigrob recieved the Dean's Teaching Award.
