Une Voyage Commence

Item consists of a toned black and white photograph of a group of men and women on a sailboat. Five women dressed in long skirts and three men in turtlenecks or ties stand and sit on one end of the boat, posing for the photographer. In the foreground, a boy is turned away from the camera, looking at the group. He is wearing a hat and has his sleeves rolled up. The boat seems to tilt sharply to the left. On the back of the photograph is handwritten in pen "Une Voyage Commence" which is French, and translates to "a trip / journey begins".

Item is a mounted albumen photograph of sailboats at anchor. Text in gold beneath photograph reads, 'The Seasons Greetings'. Inscription in pencil on the back of the mount reads, '$8.00'

Kodak promotional shots of sailboats, cyclers, golfers

File contains promotional colour photographs of sporting activities. Eight prints are duplicate prints of a saiil boat, with the caption "This colorful photo of catamarans in full sail is now on view as the latest Kodarama...This print was made on new Kodak Ektacolor 2001 paper." inserted with each image. Similarly, there are four prints of a man golfing mid-swing, five prints of a group of cyclers approaching the camera head-on, and a single print of a group of men wearing Kodak hockey jerseys posed for a group portrait on an ice rink.
