Material published by Ryerson Press in Canada between 1862 and 1971. Transferred to McGraw Hill with the sale of the company in 1970. Donated to Ryerson University Archives and Special Collections in 2017.
Scope and content
Collection contains books published by Ryerson Press in Toronto between 1862 and 1971. Subjects include educational texts and guides, Canadian history, religion, fiction and poetry. The collection also includes 3 boxes of records from Ryerson Press, including authors contracts, correspondence, and memorandums.
Fair. Where book jackets exist they are very fragile. A few items in very poor condition (mainly suede disintegration) and will require conservation treatments.
