Item consists of a grey card with oval photograph of a man with dark suit and hat seated at centre, with two women standing behind him, each holding a pair of gloves. The woman on the left wears a checkered blouse with plain dark skirt, and the blouse is puffed out in the "S" curve fashion. The woman on the right wears a dark coloured dress with matching belt and a velvet(?) collar. At bottom right, embossed, "Jas. Mason/ PENETANG &/ ELMVALE".

Item consists of a grey card with photograph affixed. Image of an army regiment at attention, standing ont he sidewalk of a city street with a building advertising "THE/ T.S. FORD C-/ LIMITED/ DEPARTMENT/ STORE" behind the troops. Handwritten in blue ink are the names of many of the soldiers, with arrows pointing to the respective persons.

Item consists of a brown coloured cabinet with a cream coloured verso. Adhered to the recto is an image of a man, woman, and two young girls sitting in a cardboard prop of a late nineteenth-century automobile. An older woman leans against the hood of the vehicle. Various photograph envelopes from Kodak in Montreal QC, Gurds Sports Hobbies in London ON, and Tamblyn Tel-Vision Prints in Toronto. Advertisements for Verichrome Safety film on Kodak envelopes. One envelope contains two prints of A.T. Orr, one with him and a group of friends, the other holding game after hunting.

Cottage album

Black textured soft cover. Black pages with photographs hand cut and mounted with glue. Many of the last pages are blank.
Photographs are amateur family snapshots taken at various locations including houses and a log cabin. There are landscapes and pictures of the family and children participating in various activities, including fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, and other cottage types of activities. There are also images taken in a photobooth, and photos of the family dog.

Item consists of a copy of photograph in 2008.001.209.14, but cropped in a little tighter. A group of women on the steps to a building. They all wear white or light coloured low-waisted dresses and bobbed hair, except for two women in a darker colour in the back row and one gentleman standing on a bannister at the far left. At the top of the image, a British flag is visible.

Item consists of a beige card with photograph pasted on slightly smaller than the area designed for it. The photograph shows a group of 5 children, 2 girls and 3 boys. The girl at the left wears dark, high collared dress with bishop sleeves and ringlets in her short hair. The older girl in the centre wears a more dated sleeve style, fitted as in the 1880s, with a loose bodice and lace neckline and sleeve caps. The boys wear fitted sack coats buttoned at the top button only. The youngest in the picture wears what is probably a Fauntleroy suit, consisting of a velvet jacket, wide lace collar and ruffle down the front of his shirt. On verso, handwritten in ink, "Mrs Hyram Shelton".

Item consists of a beige card with black letterpress at bottom right, "W.S. Durrer,/ Formosa." Photograph shows a man in sack coat and waistcoat with tie, holding a boy in a sailor style suit at his side. In the centre, a young girl in a dress with two layers of ruffles at the neck is seated, while a boy in fitted suit jacket and ascot stands behind her. The wife and youngest girl are seated a the right. The woman wears a dress with a fitted sleeve with ball shaped puff which dates the style to 1897. The girl wears a dress in sailor style with a square lapel.

Item is a photograph of a man holding a child on his knee and a woman standing next to him, outside a house with a view of a field in the background. The photograph is very informal, with the man looking down and away from the camera. A screen door to the house on the right of the photograph reveals an adult holding the arm of a child, the hand pressing against the screen.

Item consists of a photograph of a Japanese family and white guest. All are seated on ats inside or on the patio to a home. On verso, handwritten in ink, "In this house of which the whole/ family is Christian we hold a regular/ weekly children's meeting. The only/ Christian service in that village./ The older girl kneeling near me is one/ of our family here. She teaches the/ children in that home - Matsuda/ Mitsuko by name."

Commercial portraits of children

File contains promotional group portraits of children participating in outdoor activities, including sleighing, camping, tree climbing and Easter egg hunting. Many are enclosed with captions that feature photography technique pointers, such as a print of a row of toddlers sitting outside on a bench with a caption that reads: "The photographer saw this fascinating line-up and was quick to get their picture before the children noticed."

Item is a brown bi-fold card with an embossed design with shield and helmet on the front left flap, beneath which is the photographer's name in letterpress: "A.E. Lyon/ Photo./ Charlottetown, P.E.I." Inside, a photograph is adhered to the card showing three women in a studio, one holding a baby. All 4 are identified by a handwritten note on the inside of the right flap.

Kodak hockey team, film processing, staff dressed in historical costume

File contains transparencies featuring two images of the Kodak hockey team (c. 1905), two images of film being processed in a lab (c. 1950), two images of a group of women sitting at a desk with a typewriter (ca. 1915), and four images of Kodak employees dressed in historical costume and posed for a composite portrait (ca. 1975?).
