Item is a cream coloured cabinet card with image of a woman in tall straw hat and bustled gown leaning in a doorway with a child in single-breasted jacket holding a straw boater seated in hay at her knees. Flowers are painted onto the faux-stone wall of the studio scene. At bottom, in gold letterpress, "Wallis." and at right "PHOTOGRAPHER/ 61 SPARKS STREET, OTTAWA."

Physical condition

Poor. Red stain at lower right. Left corner is torn off card. Some abrasion all the way around. Image is yellowed with some yellow-brown sains throughout (ink?). Card is discoloured.
