Eastman Kodak Company

Eastman Kodak repair parts lists and repair service information

File consists of three 3-ring binders, created between 1929 and 1943, containing detailed, illustrated instructions and equipment lists designed to serve as reference material for those responsible for repairing Kodak still and motion picture cameras. Information contained within the binders was created and distributed on a subscription basis by Eastman Kodak Company. Subscribers would receive periodic updates of information, which could be added to the binders over time.

Kodak Canada Inc.

Communications reference material

Sub-sub-series contains documents used as reference material for Kodak Canada's Corporate Communications department and also potentially by the Kodak Canada Heritage Collection and Museum between approximately 1970 to 2005. Sub-sub-series contains articles photocopied from various publications or printed from websites, including articles published by Kodak--such as articles from Kodak magazine--and articles published externally. Sub-sub-series also includes: mission statements, organizational charts and other strategic documents for both Kodak Canada Inc. and Eastman Kodak Co.; print-outs and photocopies of Kodak Customer Service pamphlets; and reproduced advertisements and photographic images. Because the Corporate Communicatons department was closely associated with the Kodak Heritage Collection and Museum, a similar file of Museum Reference Material was likely also consulted by employees of Corporate Communications.

Kodak Canada Inc.

Kodak customer service pamphlets

File contains originals and photocopies of Kodak Customer Service Pamphlets and order forms, published between 1977 and 1997. These pamphlets were available for purchase and provided technical advice and information on various aspects of photography. Topics include: photograms; camera lenses; and the history of Kodak cameras.

Kodak Canada Inc.

Handheld photographic field guides / Chimifoto Ornano ; Eastman Kodak Company ; Kodak AG ; Radiant

Includes the Kodak Print-Exposure Computer (in envelope), Kodak Indoor Exposure Guide (2 copies), Snapshot Kodaguide, Kodak Development/Enlarging Dial, Kodak Projection Calculator, Chimifoto Ornano Optical Test Target, and Radiant Screen Finder. The five former items, all published by Eastman Kodak or its subsidiary, Kodak AG, contain rotating volvelles intended to guide users in the choice of film, shutter speed, and f-number for a variety of subjects and lighting situations, to help with photographic enlarging and development, and to aid in determining projection distance.

Kodak Canada Inc.

Museum reference material

File includes records used as reference materials for the Kodak Canada Heritage Collection and Museum and potentially by Corporate Communications. Includes photocopies of camera catalogues and inventories; articles on the history of York; timelines of photographic history; order forms for and information on photography reference books; and information on George Eastman House, Rochester. Because the Museum was closely associated with the Corporate Communications department, a similar file of Communication Reference Material was likely also consulted by employees of the Museum.
