Cast into the vertical assembly are the words: "Fotolarger, Testrite, N.Y." On the negative holder, there is a metal plate printed with the CSA logo, and "Fotolarger, use #211 lamp 75 W 110-115 V, Testrite Instrument Co., Inc., New York, N. Y. -- made in U.S.A."

12 oz. glass tube with cork stopper that contained Ingento No.2 toning and fixing powder for all kinds of gelatine printing out papers, now empty with a crack in the glass. Found inside original cardboard packaging with rolled up sheet of instructions and a folded paper with an advertisement for "Titleit", a service provided by Burke & James, Inc. for marking negatives with typed titles.

Item consists of a Kodak Reflection-Transmission Color Densitometer Model RT. When using the transmission mode, the densitometer can be used to measure the density of a negative, and when using the reflection mode, it can measure the saturation of a resulting print. This allows for a photographer to choose the correct paper and exposure to make prints with, without the need to experiment with test strips.
