Kodak Kodachrome professional color reversal film

1 box of Kodachrome daylight colour reversal film in original, unopened packaging with directions to process before February 1989. ISO 25. 24 x 36 mm exposures. A 2nd box has been opened and contains 1 roll of film, unexposed, inside a black plastic cannister with a sheet of folded paper listing the properties and uses of the film in English and Japanese. (Exterior of box is printed in English only.) The second box gives directions to process before May 1986.

Kodak photomicrography colour film on Estar base, SO-456. 2 rolls in original packaging, 1 opened. The opened package contains one metal twist-top tin with a roll of unexposed film, and a folded piece of yellow paper with film information and instructions for use. 36mm.

On both programmes, there is a page on the back for autographs which is mostly filled with signatures. The Kodak Pioneers honoured those employees who had completed 25 years service with Kodak.

KCI Centennial / Kins Launch

Item contains colour photographs and negatives of the Canadian Kodak Centennial Kolorkins drop, May 6th, 1999. During this event, hundreds of Kodak Kolorkins (promotional soft toys in bright colours developed by Kodak in the 1990's) were dropped from a helicopter over the Toronto Kodak complex. Photos include images of Toronto mayor Mel Lastman making a speech.

Fargo-Moorehead Cultural Centre Bridge, project, Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota, South elevation

Illustration of a bridge, with various other sketches of bridges around the borders of the image and the text: "(Colour illustration from the cover of the forthcoming issue of Architectural Monographs: 5 Michael Graves.)" The original drawing is graphite and crayon on yellow paper, done in 1978, in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The bridge was designed as a replacement for a vehicular bridge spanning the Red River, connecting Minnesota and North Dakota.

Opening of PET plant, Pro Convention & Kodak Fun Night

File contains contact sheets featuring images of Kodak employees at Kodak events, including the at the opening of Canada's first PET Bottle Polymer Plant (28 September 1990). There are also images of Kodak employees dressed up for Halloween at the Kodak Fun Night (4 March 1990). and at the Pro Convention Auction (5 March 1990).

Kodak window displays, Christmas 1965

File contains images of Kodak products piled as Christmas presents, such as the Instamatic M4 and the complete Super 8 home movie oufit, beneath a 'Season's Greetings' picture with hand drawn signs that have slogans like 'open me first' or 'gift idea'. One image features flash cubes hung like snow flakes. For black and white prints see 2005.001.06.03.346.

Hilton's Virginia Street Casino

File contains three identical prints featuring an image of Hilton's Virginia Street Casino lit up at night. The casino operated from 1955 to 1978 and remained a casino-hotel-resort until 2008 when it opened as The Montage Reno, an upsacale contemporary high rise residential building. A caption included with the photographs reads: "A Reno marquee at night exposed using Ektar 1000 film in a Nikon F 3 camera equipped with a 15 mm Nikkor lens. The exposure was f/8 at 1/125 second."

Kodak Image Check Awards 1996 Regional Retailers of the Year

File contains a group portrait featuring the Regional Retailers of the Year at the Kodak Image Check Awards in 1996. Canada's 125th Anniversary at Building #5 and Kodak PhotoCD

File contains two identical photographs featuring an image of a group of employees standing with a Canada flag outside in the parking lot of Building #5. A flag in the foreground indicates the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada. The third photograph features an image of the Kodak PhotoCD compact disc with PhotoCD Player and remote, likely taken for advertising purposes.

Kodak commercial advertising photographs

Commerical photographs: one still life of a tea set, one advertising a fisher price camera for children - the image is of three children (two boys and a girl) and a note with the photograph reads "Put a camera in the hands of children and sharpen your own view of the world. The Fisher-Price camera was designed for younsters in the five-to-eight-year-old group". Four are head shots of a young man wth a mohawk. Two are of Grey Line red double decker buses with Kodak advertising on the side of the buses. Two are studio shots of Kodak cameras with boxes of Kodak film. One is of men in the middle of a soccer game, this photograph includes a note that reads "Participants in the 1986 Kodak 'Run for the Money' color reporduction contest will be working from this colorful sports action photo in their attempts to accurately reproduce the image for the ninth annual Kodak 'Run for the Money." Other images are still lifes of coloured umbrellas, chalk, and casino lights taken at night. As well as two commercial 'beauty' shots of two women.

Process C-41 hot air balloon Calgary Winter Olympics balloon festival

Item is an image of a hot air balloon flying over autumn trees. It was made by Randle Taylor, a Kodak dealer from Toledo, Ohio, built the balloon to resemble a giant roll of Kodacolor VR-G film and displayed during the Kodak Balloon Festival in Calgary Alberta during the 1988 Winter Olympics.

Kodak promotional panoramic mountain view

File contains a panoramic mountain view. Enclosed with the print is a caption that reads: "A panoramic vista snapped with the new Kodak Stretch 35 camera. A great travelling companion!" The Stretch 35 was a 35 mm single-use camera loaded with 12 frames of Kodacolor Gold 200. It was manufactured during 1989.

Agfa dry plate negatives in original packaging, opened but still containing a few plates. Package originally contained 1 dozen 5 x 7 inch negative plates. Stamp on back of box directs the user to develop before Aug 1939.

Fonds consists of 12 "Canadian Kodakery" magazines dating from June 1916 to May 1917, 1 issue of "Kodak on the Farm" and 2 issues of "Kodak and Kodak Supplies" with 107 negatives interfiled between the pages. The magazines were used as an arrangement system for negatives of the Glencoe, Ontario area. The pages of the magazines have notes in the margins describing the subject of the negative stored at that page, and tabs have been cut out of the pages much like one would see tabs on a card index. Most of the negatives are consistent with the No. 122 roll film size but a few were taken with a smaller film format.
