It is a 54 piece kit that includes 1 clear petri dish with lid, 2 clear plastic vials (1 is missing), a spatula, tweezers, a stirring rod, 6 glass slides (4 are missing), 3 prepared slides (1 is missing), 12 cover glasses, 12 statical covers, 12 blank labels, a microscope with 25x to 100x magnification and instructions in both french and english. In original packaging.

Large and heavy machine with two reels for spooling film.

Item is a small camera with a rectagular body made of black plastic and a green #1 on the top. Made for use with 110 cartridge film, it is a basic camera with fixed focus and a flipflash connector. Made for the Canadian market, this camera is labelled in French and English, and reads "appareil Kodak EKTRA camera" in silver above the green #1. Camera is in original packaging (opened) with roll of 110 film, instruction booklet and strap included.

Empty box of Kodak Gold 200 colour print film for bright sun and flash photography, originally contained 8 rolls of 35mm film with 24 exposures each. Kodak Canada catalogue #109 0091. The box is stamped with a develop by date of 06/2007.

Packaging for Agfa Commercial Orthochromatic film, opened and empty. A sticker on the top left indicates the product was safety film. A red, circular sticker at the top right depicts the logo for the NRA.

Box contains one pack of 8 x 10.5 cm (3 14 x 4 1/4 inches) film sheets, 12 exposures, for use in film pack cameras or in plate cameras with film pack adapter, opened and unused. Dates given reflect the lifespan of the product (exact date unknown). Kodak Verichrome Film was introduced in 1931 and discontinued in 1956 with the introduction of Verichrome Pan film. Round metal tin for 16 mm Eastman Color Negative II Film, opened and empty. Yellow sticker on canister indicates film length of 122 metres, and Kodak Canada catalogue number: 166 5687. Eastman Kodak Company is pressed into the bottom of the tin.

Packaging for 3 rolls Kodak Non-Curling Orthochromatic film, opened. Two boxes still contain rolled sheets with instructions for use. One large box of 128 film, size 3 1/4 x 5 1/2, is stamped with directions to develop before July 1, 1912. The package was produced in Rochester, NY and printed in French, German and Spanish for sale in European markets. Two small boxes contained 116 film, size 2 1/2 x 4 1/4. One package is stamped with a develop-by date of Mar. 1, 1915. There is a sticker taped across this package with the words "Extra Rapid Eastman Speed Film". The second package is in English only, with instructions to use by October 1928.

Packaging for 3 rolls of Kodak Verichrome Film, opened and no longer containing film although they have been re-glued shut. The 3 boxes were designed for various sizes and speeds: 120 film at 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches, 116 film at 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches, 124 film at 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches. The packages are stamped with develop by dates: Nov 1934, Nov 1935, Dec 1935.

Packaging for Ansco Orthochromatic Non-Curling Non-Halation film, opened and empty. The film box is blue and orange and is made of cardboard. The box would have contained roll film that was 8x14cm and had 6 exposures. The film cartridge that the box once contained was prepared for machine development. A stamp on the side of the box gives the expiry date as Dec 1 1913.

Architect's model. Housing development the North Coast Tribal Council

The Electra Building in Vancouver, British Columbia was built in 1957 as the new headquarters for the BC Electric Company, under its president Dal Grauer. A few days after Grauer's death in 1961, it became part of a new provincial crown corporation named BC Hydro. The 21 story, 89 m (293 ft), building was designed by architect, Ronald Thom. At the time it was claimed to be the tallest building in the Commonwealth, although this was not true. After BC Hydro moved to new offices in Vancouver and Burnaby in the late 1990s, the building was sold, and in 1998, was renovated and converted primarily into residential condo space.

The photographic print in this folder depicts a boardroom.

Completed in 1918, by the Canadian Government this observatory was proposed and designed by John S. Plaskett in 1910 with the support of the International Union for Cooperation in Solar Research, when the 72-inch aperture telescope was constructed, it was planned to be the largest telescope in the world but delays meant it saw first light after the Hooker 100-inch telescope.
The Centre of the Universe is the public interpretive centre for the observatory. The centre features interactive exhibits about astronomy, the work of the observatory and its parent organization, the NRC Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics. There are also tours of the telescope and programs in the planetarium and video theatre.
The folder consists of one b&w photograph of the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory. On verso: "new housing for 16in. telescope operated by Dominion Astrophysical Observatory on top of Little Saanich Mountain near Victoria, B.C. is constructed of fir plywood structural assemblies. Architect was James Langford, Chief Architect with Department of Public Works, while Roger Kemble of Kemble-Webber Architects, Vancouver, was the consultant. Johnson Construction Ltd., of Victoria, were the general contractors.

The HSBC Canada Building is a 23-storey office tower in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. It is located at 885 West Georgia Street. It houses HSBC Canada's headquarters. The skyscraper was originally built, on the site of the former Hotel Devonshire, as the headquarters of the Bank of British Columbia in 1987 by WZMH Architects. The building's lobby features a gigantic magnetically induced pendulum artwork.

The building is 58.9 m.high with 15 stories. The exterior of the building is clad with precast finished with concrete panels and
columns. Bronze was used for all building metals. The Greek cross floor design allows for six corner offices per floor.

Verso: This attractive residence, owned by Dr. and Mrs. Douglas Barnett of Burnaby BC, earned an Award of Excellence for its designers Fred Thornton Hollingsworth and Barry Vance Downs in the recently concluded Canadian Wood Design Awards program of 1965. According to the judges, "traditional West Coast Materials, in the form of rough cedar boards, with carefully selected finishes, have provided an elegant and empathetic dwelling." The awards program was sponsored by the National Design Council and the Federal Department of Industry in association with the Canadian Wood council.
