Physical description
Neill-Wycik first opened its doors to students on August 15, 1970. The initiative to create Neill-Wycik started in 1966 and was spearheaded by Kathy Whalen and a small group of motivated Ryerson students. The goal of the co-op back then was to provide affordable student accommodations and offer a student controlled environment in which they could develop.
Currently, the Neill-Wycik Co-operative offers 700+ rooms for student residence during the school year, and operates as a summer hostel from May-August. The Co-operative is open to students from any local college or university.
