Eugenie Louise (Butler) Myles graduated with honours English from the University of Alberta. She worked as a member of the editorial staff at the Edmonton Journal. She has won acclaim for her novel She Shall Be Queen, and also as co-author in the popular story, North Pole Boarding House.
