Biographical history
Mary Jo Nicholson is a Professor Emeritus of Business Law and International Business in the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. Nicholson earned her LLB from the University of British Columbia and her LLM from the University of London. She joined the faculty at Ryerson in 1985, retiring to Emeritus status in 2012. Her teaching and research specialized in the legal aspects of international business, NAFTA, and the World Trade Organization. She is the author of Legal Aspects of International Business (Toronto: Edmond Montgomery, 1997; second edition 2006) and has 17 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, including work with major firms such as Russell Dumoulin and McMillan Binch.
