Biographical history
Leslie Hall is a classically trained musician and singer and an associate professor in the Department of Philosophy and Music at Ryerson University. Hall received her MA in Musicology and her PhD in Ethnomusicology from the University of Toronto. Her research interests include: European Classical and Folk Music; Film Music; World Music; Middle Eastern Music; Latin Dance and Dance Music; and the potential use of music by people with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).
