Ronald Keeble has been a member of the Urban and Regional Planning faculty at Ryerson University since 1979. His interest in teaching examined Land –use and site planning/design and Professional practice; planning ethics and theory. He has served on two occasions as Director of the School of Planning. Prior coming to Ryerson University Ronald Keeble had practiced in the private and public sector for several years. He has also completed terms as Academic Editor of PLAN CANADA (the national journal of the planning profession in Canada), and as President of the Association of Canadian University Planning Programs. In addition Ronald Keeble has had many notable publications such as “Service Area needs Survey”, “Urban and Rural Planning Information: The Prospects for Participation”. Outside of teaching in the classroom he is also active in his home community of Markham where he has served as Council appointee on several committees, as a Board Member of several community organizations, and as a volunteer on a number of local community initiatives.
