Biographical history
Michael Mayo is a retired academic in the field of Marketing and a former member of the Department of Business Management at Ryerson University (1994-1997). In addition to his work at Ryerson, Mayo taught at the Graduate School of Management at the University of Toronto (1988 - 1994) and as an Associate Professor of Marketing at Athabasca University. His research and teaching interests included: the economic implications of social and corporate responsibility issues, International Marketing, Business to Business Marketing, and Service Quality Measurement. His publications have appeared in: The Ivey Business Journal, The Canadian Journal of Marketing Research, The Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, and others. Mayo retired from Athabasca University in 2006.
