Dr. Robert Bothwell, Professor of History at the University of Toronto, has written exten-sively on Canadian history and international relations. His most recent publications are Pirouette, on Cana¬dian foreign policy under Trudeau, Canada and the United States, and The Big Chill: Canada and the Cold War.

Dr. Margaret MacMillan is Provost, Trinity College, University of Toronto and Professor of History. A member of the executive of the Canadian Institute of International Relations, and editor of the International Journal. She has written on Indian history (Women of the Raj) and international relations. Her most recent publication is the internationally acclaimed Paris 1919.
