Portrait of three children with toys

Item is a pink cabinet card with red backing. In gold letterpress at bottom, "Peppiatt FERGUS." Image is of three children with toys. The youngest is seated in the centre holding a doll in her lap. On the left, a child in striped dress sits on a rocking horse, and to the right, a boy stands holding the reins to a wooden horse head lying on the floor. On verso, in pencil, "1.00".

Empty photograph envelopes

Various photograph envelopes from Kodak in Montreal QC, Gurds Sports Hobbies in London ON, and Tamblyn Tel-Vision Prints in Toronto. Advertisements for Verichrome Safety film on Kodak envelopes. One envelope contains two prints of A.T. Orr, one with him and a group of friends, the other holding game after hunting.

Item is a cream coloured card with brown letterpress at bottom edge, "P. Doebereiner/ Caledonia". Photograph is a portrait of a woman (standing) with man in centre, seated and a young boy seated on a wicker chair on the left. The man wears a checker patterned vest. On verso, photographer's stamp with floral border and two cherubs holding up the text "P. DOEBEREINER/ Photographer/ CALEDONIA/ Ont." At the bottom edge, "Copies may be had at any time."

The boy on the right wears a corduroy suit and leans against a table with his hand on an album. The girl in the centre has her arms crossed. Photograph affixed sideways, portrait of a family group with two women, possibly twins, and four boys, and a man. There is a drum in one corner of the photograph that reads "THE/ -SGR-VE". Item consists of an oval photograph mounted on a black, textured card with the words "J. L. Barnes/ 149 DALHOUSIE ST./ BRANTFORD, ONT." embossed at the bottom right. Photograph shows a row of men seated, the one in the centre on a high backed gothic style chair, and a second row of men standing behind them.

Family portrait with parents and four children

Item consists of a beige card with black letterpress at bottom right, "W.S. Durrer,/ Formosa." Photograph shows a man in sack coat and waistcoat with tie, holding a boy in a sailor style suit at his side. In the centre, a young girl in a dress with two layers of ruffles at the neck is seated, while a boy in fitted suit jacket and ascot stands behind her. The wife and youngest girl are seated a the right. The woman wears a dress with a fitted sleeve with ball shaped puff which dates the style to 1897. The girl wears a dress in sailor style with a square lapel.

Floral album

Item consists of a brown and gold album with the text "Floral Album" on the front cover. The pages have painted floral illustrations around the photographs and gold detailing on the edges. It contains portraits of mostly individuals and a few families or group. The images were taking by companies in Stouffville, Montreal and Toronto. Handwritten notes next to most portrait, describing the relationship of the persone photographed ("Flora Powell - cousin, Uncle Dave Wellman - Half brother of 1st family.")
