On verso, elaborate design in gold ink repeating the photographer's name and studio address, along with a handwritten note and negative number. A cartoon of two Chinese (?) men appear in the lower left of the design. The card design was provided by Free Press Print, Ottawa.
File consists of four card mounted photographs, 3 of the same man in various poses and 1 of a woman. All mounted on black card by studios in Montreal. The photographs were found inside the Agnes Osberg album (2009.005.023) with a yellow sticky note that read: Came from the same family But Not this album.
The card-mounted photographs are all studio portraits of unidentified individuals. The first of two cabinet cards is embossed with "Quartley", and the second is embossed with "Morton." Two Cartes de visites are printed on verso with "J.F. Rowe. A fifth card is identified as a "Gem" photo card, printed on verso with "R.W. Knorr" and an advertisement for the tiny Gem format.

She wears a flat, straw hat.

Item is a beige cabinet card with black letterpress at bottom edge, "Turner & Drinkwater/ 8, Regents Terrace/ Hull." Photograph is a portrait of a man leaning against a chair with his right hand in his pocket. He wears a checked suitjacket and matching waistcoat with plain trousers. There is a thin piece of glassine tissue attached at the top of the card that folds over the front of the card. The tissue has a design lithographed on it with the heraldic badge of the Prince of Wales above the text "TURNER & DRINKWATER/ THE STUDIO ROYAL, HULL./ NO. 8/ REGENT'S TERRACE." On verso, black text printed sideways, "Photographers to Their Royal Highnesses/ The Prince & Princess of Wales,/ Duke of Edinburgh and/ Duke of Cambridge". Handwritten in pencil at the lower left corner, "43825".

On collar, an "H" is pinned to the left lapel. Card has been cut down on left and right to approximate a cabinet card size.

Two photographs are of a girl seated on a miniature chaise longue in front of garden wall, and two photographs are of the interior of Canterbury Cathedral. The cathedral photographs have both been written on verso in pencil "Canterbury Cathedral," and individually in ink, "Presbytery and Archbishop Bourchier's Tomb" and "Effigy of the Black Prince from his Tomb."
