Opening of PET plant, Pro Convention & Kodak Fun Night

File contains contact sheets featuring images of Kodak employees at Kodak events, including the at the opening of Canada's first PET Bottle Polymer Plant (28 September 1990). There are also images of Kodak employees dressed up for Halloween at the Kodak Fun Night (4 March 1990). and at the Pro Convention Auction (5 March 1990).

Kodak Canada In Focus fortieth annual pioneers' banquet

File consists of Kodak Canada In Focus snapshots from the fortieth annual Kodak pioneers' banquet . Adhered to the verso of each are labels that indicate the images were for Kodak Canada In Focus, February 1979, Vol. 25 No. 2. Subjects named include: Jack and Kay McLean, Jack Burgess, John McLean, Ron Breen, Bob Searles, Don Spring, Elsie Dallan, Bernice Welsh, Cis Ball, Doug Harvey, Earl Plester, Art and Bett Hagerman, Bram Coles, Gabrielle Stewart, Alf Hall, the Chaplins, and the Randalls. Also included from this issue of In Focus is a portrait of Donald Miller, CP & P dept. for 40 years of service.

Process C-41 hot air balloon Calgary Winter Olympics balloon festival

File contains photographs of the Kodak hot air balloon at the Kodak Balloon Festival in Calgary Alberta, 1988. Caption with photograph reads: "Kodak Balloon Festival Calgary 88--One hundred and fifty brightly coloured hot air balloons from around the world will dot the Calgary skies from February 14-23 to heighten the festive atmosphere surrounding the Winter Olympics. Randle Taylor, a Kodak dealer from Toledo, Ohio, built the balloon to resemble a giant roll of Kodacolor VR-G film."

Item is a brass black with black laquer, mounted on brass, mounted on wood with a carved border. 100th Anniversary of Kodak Canada

Item is a collection of two plaques, one with a pink shaded background and one with a green shaded background. Both read: "1899 [Kodak Canada Inc. 100 years logo] 1999 / It all started at / 41 Colborne St. in / Toronto / Past Preserved - Future Defined / Presented by BGM Imaging Inc. in celebration of Kodak Canada's 100th Anniversary - 1999". "Kodak 100 Past Preserved, Future Defined Un Passe Preserve Un Avenir Defini" Canada inc 1899-1999

Item contains a collection of 20 pins, in groups of 5, attached to leather strips, with the remaining pins in individual plastic bags. Pins are rectangular and have a cloisonne appearance with a butterfly clutch. They read: PAST PRESERVED FUTURE DEFINED. / KODAK 100 / CANADA INC. 1899-1999 / UN PASSE PRESERVE UNAVENIR DEFINI.

1995 1,000,000,000 Roll Kodak Gold

Item consists of a collection of 30 lapel pins with butterfly clutches. Pins are attached to small cards: "We hope that you will wear this special pin with pride, recognizing the collective contribution of worldwide CI Associates to the sale of the 1,000,000,000th roll of Kodak film in 1995. -Dave, Alex, and Charlie"

Convocation branding

In 2016 the Ceremonials office re-branded the look of convocation materials. Included in the file are DVD labels, DVD jewel case labels, convocation program covers, and document covers for degrees and certificates.

Convocation textual materials

Sub-series contains textual materials created for convocation ceremonies. Included are tickets, instruction, and programs for each ceremony.
As of 2014 the tickets for the ceremonies went digital and as of 2020 programmes are no longer printed and tickets are now done by QR code.

Science Rendezvous

The file consists of pamphlets, a poster, and programmes for Ryerson events of the city-wide free festival that promotes an interest in science.

The inaugural festival was held on May 10, 2008 in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and in 2011expanding nation wide. Ryerson University began participating during its second year on May 9, 2009.

Lectures: Invitation/Flyer/Posters

File consists of lecture notices, invitations and posters from the School of Disability Studies. It includes materials from the Distinguished Visitor Series and the Harry 'Red' Foster Commemorative Lecture series.

Student Campus Centre -Time Capsule Project

A file documenting the Student Campus Centre "Time Capsule" project. The file consists of thefollowing:

  1. Letter from Ryesac listing their time capsule contents
  2. Letter from CESAR listing their time capsule contents
  3. Copy of a letter from Ryesac that was included in the time capsule
  4. Floor plans of the Student Centre with a red X marking the location of the buried time capsules.
  5. Photographs of capsule contents, letter and burial ceremony

Toque Tuesday materials

As part of the Canadian Federation of Students' cross- Canada event "Raising the Roof: Solutions for Canada's Homeless" program, February 2nd, 1999 was designated as 'Toque Tuesday' at Ryerson. Ryerson students sold toques on the streets and in subway stations to raise money for this program. This has become an annual event during the month of February.
Included in the file are posters advertising the initiative and 2 toques - one black and one blue.

Official council launch program

Golf Tournament miscellanea

The "Arts" Division annual golf tourney was initiated in 1981 and developed into an University-wide tournament in 1988. The materials consist of notices, photographs, a sampling of score cards, statistics (player scores, prize categories), sampling of a tournament contract and a trophy - given to the archives by former Dean of Arts, Terry Grier.

Nursing Honour Society Induction Ceremony

File contains materials from the Ryerson School of Nursing Honour Society. Sigma Theta Tau International is the Nursing Honour Society. Included in the file is a VHS tape and programme from the inaugural ceremony, and programmes from the 1997 and 2000 ceremonies.
