The two empty wine bottles were donated to the Archives at the end of the event by Food Services. PEBBLES was designed by Ryerson's Centre for Learning Technologies, Telbotics Inc., and the Adaptive Technology Resource Centre at the University of Toronto. It was a video teleconferencing unit that could connect hospitalized children with the classroom. $1 from every clothing purchase would be donated to PEBBLES. Featured in the photographs are then president Claude Lajeunesse, Wayne Gretzky, his wife Janet Jones, and Ryerson professor Deborah Fels. Pictures from the file were printed in the October 5, 1998 edition of the FORUM. Included in the file are brochures about PEBBLES, a press kit about the launch, and advertisements for the Wayne Gretzky collection.
