Black soft cover album with word "Photographs" on front in white lettering. Bound by green braided string. Black pages with photos glued in as well as tape. Mostly illustrations and sketches only 1 photo (g.s.p.) but note in pencil on photo says 1858 - Crimean War? Includes a receipt of "returned soldier's insurance" - 1930

Miscellaneous album

Item consists of an album that is beige with a linear, green, geometric design and brown tape along the spine. It is held together with black string. Pages are green. Photographs are loose. Other loose accompanying material includes ink, pencil and colour sketches, various postcards.

Most photographs are from Toronto, Ontario. 1 photograph shows the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir at the Peace Festival in 1919. There is a publication with a Plan of York Minster Sh3wing the Architectural Styles from 1931. 1 photograph of Sir Geo Scott Roberston, M.P.

Item is a cream coloured cabinet card with portrait of a young boy, about 5 or 6 years old, seated on the edge of an upholstered chair holding a hat in his left hand. He wears a polka dot blouse and large polka dot ascot with short, probably velvet, pants. At the bottom of the card, embossed in gold, on the left "HERBERT E. SIMPSON/ PHOTOGRAPHER/ 143 COLLEGE STREET/ TORONTO." At the bottom centre, a coat of arms is also embossed, with a lion and unicorn and the motto, "DIEU ET MON DROIT", a variant design on the British Royal Coat of Arms.
