Proposed sidings for the Canadian Kodak Co. Ltd. [Kodak Heights]

File contains 3 blueprints (2 cyanotype reproductions) related to the original land proposal for the Kodak Heights factory in Ontario, showing the outline of the area including proposed buildings, Eglinton and Yonge streets, as well as surrounding lots and concessions. Blueprints pertain specifically to the construction of a steel railway trestle connecting Canadian Pacific rail lines to the Kodak Heights power house (Building 1)

Tan envelopes are printed in black with "B. Frank Stewart, Kodaks and Amateur Supplies, Orillia, Ontario." Most of the photographs are undated snapshots of unidentified individuals and groups posed indoors and out, and images of farm animals, buildings, Niagara Falls and landscapes. Two photographs are dated on verso as "Sept. 1919", and "Jan. 1921." Four photographs are written in ink on verso "Jim Ross and Watson Matheson", "Catherine Ann (McFayden) Wallace", "Bolsover Sunday School Picnic", "Hugh McIntyre and family members."

Inscribed in blue ink on verso reads the name "Fritz Siess" followed by an address in Willowdale, Ontario. It was mailed to the Kodak Canada Inc. processing laboratory in Brampton, Ontario.

View of the exterior of a residential structure built into a rocky landscape, with with exaggerated concrete columns for support. The accompanying paper contains a typescript report from the Canadian Housing Design Council awarding this house a National Design Award for 1969.

Hamilton, Gore Park
