File contains small advertising posters for the January 16, 1971, and the February 19, 1972 School of Nursing open houses geared towards high school students.

File contains a poem about being a nurse, and a sheaf of song lyrics for various songs about nursing in the tune of popular songs.

File contains invitations to the Wellesley annual carol tea and programs for the annual carol sing performed by a choir of student nurses. Included with the 1968 program are several copies of a record created of the choir singing.

File contains newspaper and magazine articles about the Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing. Included in the file is an extensive article in the Canadian Hospital magazine on the Nursing School and the new residence.

Framed certificate of appreciation granted to Elsie K. Jones upon her retirement from Wellesley's School of Nursing in 1964. It reads as follows:

Framed architectural rendering of the new nursing residence called the "Elsie K. Jones Building" Rendering was presented to Mrs. C. A. LaVenture (Elsie K. Jones) at the naming of the residence. Written under the rendering is:
"This drawing was presented on the Fourteenth day of April, 1971, to Mrs. C. A. LaVenture (Elsie K. Jones) on the occasion of the naming of the Nurses' Residence the "Elsie K. Jones Building".
Under her guidance as Director of Nursing at the Wellesley Hospital, the highest standards of nursing education and nursing service were established, and her devotion and willingness to serve remain a lasting inspiration to the nursing profession."

File contains a brown covered loose leaf notebook with "Climax" embossed on cover in black. Inside are lecture and course notes for surgical nursing. Dorothy Arnot was the instructor. Also in the notebook is a TIME magazine stories about penicillin and tuberculosis.

File contains green hardback notebook kept by Elsie K. Jones. It is a assumed these notes were taken during her time as a student in the Nursing school and not while she was head of the School. Notes include everything from how to make a patients bed to bandaging to catherization.

Purple covered notebook belonging to a class of 1944 graduate. Inside the notebook are lecture notes and a copy of the Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing procedures manual relating to the second year of training. Lecture notes for classes - Dietetics, Orthopedic surgery and Surgical Nursing.

File of charting notes, handouts, schedules, course notes, and lecture notes regarding all years of the Wellesley Nursing programme.

Series contains the constitution and rules of the Wellesley Student Nurses' Association, residence rules, and rules pertaining to the Wellesley Division - Toronto General Hospital.

File contains copies of the Student Nurses' Association of The Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing constitution, and residence & general conduct rules.

An 8 page address about changing nursing education to reflect the changing needs of society. The author/orator is unknown. The speech is typed on Toronto General Hospital - Wellesley Division letterhead.

Address given by University of Toronto Dean of Arts Moffatt St. Andrew Woodside to the graduating class of the Toronto General Hospital. Ceremony took place in Convocation Hall at the University of Toronto. The ceremony was held May 23, 1957.

Address given by a member of the Wellesley Hospital adminstration to the new nursing students (Class of 1973) at Wellesley. The address explains the administrative structure on the hospital and changes to the nursing program.

Speech delivered to Hospital Management by Ruth Sleeper. Ruth Sleeper was the Director of the School of Nursing and Nursing Services at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. The address was typed out on Toronto General Hospital - Wellesley Division letterhead.

A typewritten history of the School of Nursing at Wellesley up until its amalgamation with Ryerson's school of Nursing. It was written for The Wellesley's archives. Author and date are not known.

File contains correspondence between members of the Wellesley Hospital and its School of Nursing and the Toronto General Hospital and its School of Nursing regarding Toronto General Hospital's ability to provide obstetrical nursing and other medical training to Wellesley Nursing students.

File contains a memo sent to Public Relations at Wellesley Hospital from the Nursing School regarding a Toronto Telegram article "RNAO - Apathy is the Rule" by Bette Laderoute, printed May 21, 1970. Also included in the file is a draft of the same memo.

File contains memos and correspondence regarding The Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing affiliation with the Red Cross Outpost hospitals. This agreement allowed 3rd year nursing students to gain experience interning at the Red Lake Outpost Hospital in Red Lake Ontario - located Northwest of Sudbury, about 100 kilometers from the Ontario-Manitoba border. The Wellesley School ended it affiliation with the program in 1971.

File contains meeting minutes from a Hospital for Sick Children meeting in response of the Lynch Report recommending that Nursing schools be moved out of the Hospitals and phased into post-secondary education institutions. Sent as a memo from the Principal of Wellesley's School of Nursing, to Hospital administrators.

File contains correspondence regarding the loaning of historical materials for the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario 50th anniversary exhibits in Toronto between June 11 and June 14, 1975.

File contains memos regarding holidays, allowances, and clinical experience hours, .
