The new building, Temple Emanu-El, and its sanctuary were dedicated on Friday, April 22, 1960. In 1980 Temple Beth Sholom, a sister congregation, was united with Temple Emanu-El to form the present Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom congregation.
