Envelope 2 contains a variety of records relating to course work and projects undertaken by Robert Scott while teaching at Ryerson in Film and Photography (now Image Arts)

Envelope 15, 15.1 and 15.2

Envelope 15 contains materials relating to Marshal McLuhan. Included is content, proposals, news stories, correspondence, meeting minutes and other materials relating to a variety of McLuhan related exhibits and displays.

Frogpond

"The journal Frogpond is an official serial publication of the Haiku Society of America. Its primary function is to publish the best in contemporary English-language haiku and senryu, linked forms including sequences, renku, rengay, and haibun, essays and articles on these forms, and book reviews." -- Journal about page. The first publication of the journal was in 1978.

George Swede with Anita Krumins were the first Canadian editors of Frogpond. Although Ms. Krumins was officially an Assistant Editor, in every capacity she was the Associate Editor. Their first issue was Volume 31 : 2 in 2008, ending with Volume 35 : 1, 2012.

Unsorted Materials

Sub-series consists of materials previously stored on the UM (unsorted materials) shelves in the Archives. The materials in this sub-series were found on one shelf and are the proofs and assorted materials relating to a series of books written by Dean and Nancy Tudor entitled "American Popular Music on Elpee". The series consisted of 4 books - "Contemporary Popular Music", "Black Music", "Jazz", and "Grass Roots Music". All of the published books are currently in the Archives collection.

Drinking vessels

Sub-series consists of a variety of glass and ceramic mugs, glasses, and steins created for Ryerson with its name and crest on them.

RADmag (Ryerson Art + Design Magazine)

File contains copies of RADmag - Ryerson Art + Design magazine. It is a creative magazine spotlighting students all the schools under the Faculty of Communicaiton and Design. Issue 00 was an alumni edition and Issue 01 was published with 3 different covers.

Howard Hillen Kerr files

Sub-series contains files created and collected by Howard H. Kerr during his presidency at Ryerson Institute of Technology. Howard H. Kerr was the president of Ryerson from 1948 to 1966.
Files are mainly correspondence, reports, awards, drawings and facilities and departments operations.

Fred Jorgenson files

Sub-series contains files created and collected by Fred Jorgenson during his presidency at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. Fred Jorgenson was president at Ryerson from 1966 to 1969. Files are mainly correspondence and reports regarding the various departments operations, student services, staff and faculty requirements, committees and other issues related to the Office of the President.

Anthony Wilkinson's files

Sub-series contains files collected by Anthony Wilkinson during his interim position at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. Anthony Wilkinson was the interim president of Ryerson from 1969-1970. His files consist mainly of reports and correspondence.

Donald Mordell's files

Sub-series is a collection of files collected and created by Donald L. Mordell during his presidency at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute.
Donald L. Mordell was the Ryerson President from 1970 to 1974. Files are mainly composed by reports, minutes of meetings, proposals, memos, general correspondence and other materials related to the president's office.

George Korey's files

Sub-series contains files collected and created by Dr. George Korey Krozeczowki during his time a Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. Dr. Korey was the acting president at Ryerson from 1974-1975. Files contain information on the Ryerson Pension Plan, liquor licence, scholarships and awards and other information regarding the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, Ministry of Colleges and Universities and correspondence.

Walter Pitman's files

Sub-series contains files collected and created by Walter G. Pitman during his presidency at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. Walter Pitman was Ryerson president from 1975 - 1980. Files contain reports, minutes of meetings, agreements, correspondence and other items related to Ryerson's operations.

Envelope 2.1 contains correspondence from former colleagues, students, and assorted personal correspondence.

Envelope 3 contains correspondence, drawings and a film and photography student handbook.

Business awards night

Sub-series contains photographs taken of award winners and the awards reception for the School of Business Management, and then the Ted Rogers School of Business Management.

Full-Time Undergraduate Course Calendars

The first Ryerson Day School Calendar was published not as a single volume but as a series of individual booklets for each program. This reflected the experimental nature of the curriculum in the Institute's first year. Although the booklets are not officially dated, the "historical sketch" in each booklet confirms that the calendar set dates from 1948.
The Undergraduate Program Calendars are available in digital form on the Ryerson Web Site at https://www.ryerson.ca/calendar/ from 2010-2011 to the present calendar. As of 2010 / 2011 academic year, they will be available online ONLY.

Part-time degree studies calendars

This file contains Part-time degree studies calendars.
2009/2010 last school year for printed calendars. Available online. Selective xerlox bound copies of the calendar are still printed and given to select departments within the University.

Registrar's Office records - general

Sub-series (divided in to files by decade) contains correspondence, meeting minutes and other materials generated by/received by the Office of the Registrar. Some of the files contents may overlap with other files in the Administrative series.

This sub-series contains documents covering the administration and management of the Department of English. This includes records relating to meeting minutes and department decisions, budgetary documents, proposals, job postings, and other notable events in the department's history. The majority of the documents cover the internal correspondence and memorandums sent throughout the department.

This sub-series contains files regarding the Department of English's faculty members. Documents include photographs and photo-negatives of professors, curriculum vitaes, faculty lists, and correspondence pertaining to sabbaticals and resignations.
