Series consists of materials transferred in the Archives holdings in the 1970s and left in piles on shelving units. No original order was apparent. After viewing materials it was discerned that the best course of action was to sort material by subject.

Department of Nursing

File contains information on a post-diploma intensive care nursing program, list of department staff, list of the nursing task force, and other correspondence and memos regarding the program. It also includes 2 b&w photographs.

Society of Photographic Scientists and Engineers

File contains correspondence between Ryerson and the Society of Photographic Scientists and Engineers regarding the International Symposium on Photographic Science and Technology in the Western Hemisphere on March 10, 11, 12, 1971 at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute.

Le Treteau de Paris theatre company

File contains brochures of the Ryerson Theater Department presenting Le Treteau de Paris, advertising the play "Le Roi Se Meurt". Included is an invitation list, , letters of appreciation and other correspondence regarding the event. Some posters are also included.

Technikos magazine

The magazine was mailed to alumni once or twice a year, keeping alumni up-to-date on the happenings of the school. Only 10 issues were published before another alumni magazine replaced it by "The Ryerson Review".

Palin Hall official dedication materials

File contains a register for the dedication ceremony of Eric Palin Hall, held on October 15th 1971 (building is as of 2013 called Oakam House). File also contains an invitation and guest list to the official dedication to re-name the Technology Annex to Eric Palin Hall held on Feb 9th 1979.

Volume X

File contains photographs of Howard Kerr Hall, The Quad, Spring Convocation for Applied Arts, Technology, and Business, and the Lester B. Pearson Business and International Seminar.

Volume XI

File contains photographs taken during 1971-1972. Included are photographs of the Lester B. Pearson seminar, Hugh Macauley's retirement party, BOG newsbriefings, Summer theatre, the Ryerson Theatre, and a visit from the Minister of College's and Universities.

Volume XII

File contains photographic slides from information services. Included are photographs of a visit from the Minister of Colleges and Universities, Education pattern charts, and general campus and environs photographs. Also included in the file are various scripts from slide show that these photographs (and possibly others in the collection) were used in.

Reference photograph files

Series contains photgraphs taken and maintained by the Department of Information Services prior to their amalgamation with Community Relations. The photographs were used for publications including FORUM, THE ANNUAL REPORT, THE RYERSON RAMBLER, TECHNIKOS and THE ADMISSIONS BULLETIN during the period 1967 to 1986, covering such subjects as Convocation, Fashion, Homecoming, Individuals, Parades/Picnics, RTA, Visitors and the Winter Carnival. Administration

File contains three photographs from the Toronto Star Syndicate portraying Ryerson President Donald Mordell talking to students. File also contains five other photographs showing various members of Ryerson's administration in various places on campus and one at the opening of Jorgenson Hall.
