Item is a photomechanical reproductioon stereocard produced as a giveaway by the American Cereal Co. The cards were included in the packaging of Pettijohn's Breakfast Food cereal. The company was also giving away stere-viewers when consumers sent in a cut out from the packaging along with 50 cents.

Documentary Films series

Series consists of biographical films about Vladimir Ilyich Lenin (1870-1924), leader of the Soviet Union and father of Communism. These films were created and produced in the Russian Soviet State and reflect the ideals of the state and the popular interpretation of Lenin's life and work. The 17 film reels make up the following 4 movies: "Lenin is alive" (1969), "Lenin: pages of the biography" (1969), "Gorki Leninskie" (1984), "Lenin documents, facts, recollections" (1969). A DVD was added to the collection in 2010 that depicts the public speeches and demonstrations taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania during the dissolution of the Lithuanian Soviet State, including the tearing down of a statue of Lenin in the city centre.

Minolta 16 QT

Item consists of the 16mm miniature camera, the Minolta 16 QT. The camera has a silver top plate and black body. It has a Rokkor 23mm f3.5 lens; a two speed shutter of 1/30 and 1/250 seconds; bright-frame type viewfinder; IC viewfinder lamps for over- and under- exposure lamps; and automatic metering. This camera was the last made for Minolta's 16mm film cartridges and uses PX-825 battery alkaline batteries.

Item consists of a 16mm miniature camera, the Minolta 16 Model P. It has a Rokkor f3.5/25mm lens with an aperture scale from f3.5 to f16, a 1/100 second speed shutter, a tripod socket, and a flash terminal. There is also a flash unit and clamp to secure the flash on.

Item consists of a sub-miniature camera for 10 x 14 mm exposures on 16 mm film. Camera has a nickel plated body and uses a Stekinar f3.5/25 mm Antistigmat fixed-focus lens. Item has original case and lens cap.

Mamiya-16 Automatic

Item is a sub-miniature camera. The Mamiya-16 Automatic is much larger than the original Mamiya-16 and includes a coupled selenium meter and a hinged bright-frame finder. The lens is a f2.8/25 mm Mamiya-Sekor lens and a 2-200 shutter.

Haco-44

Item consists of a grey Haco-44 twin-lens reflex camera and case for 4 x 4cm exposures on 127 film. Manufactured by Tougodo, a Japanese camera maker that was active from 1930 to the mid 1960s, this model was also sold under the name Toyoca-44, Kino-44, Laqon-44 and Tower-44. The Haco model has a gray leatherette covering, Hacor 1:3.5 f3.5 6cm lens and viewing lens with bayonet mount and semi-automatic film advance with exposure counter.

Item consists of a twin-lens reflex camera for exposures using 4 x 4 cm TLR for 127 film. The camera includes a Topcor 1 : 2.8 =6cm lens and a Toko 1 : 2.8 f=6cm lens. Carl Zeiss Planar lens. Attached to the camera is a black Primo lens cap.

Seagull 4B-1

Item consists of a 120 twin-lens reflex camera in its original purple packaging, including the original instruction booklet. The camera uses 120 roll film for 12 frames on 6 x 6 cm exposures or 16 frames on 4.5 x 6 cm exposures. The camera has two f1:3.5/75 mm lens and a 1-300 shutter.

Item is a 35 mm cameras with 1/30 - 1/500 shutter speeds and a Helios 44 mm f2 lens. The camera has an uncoupled selenium meter and a match-needle on top housing. The match-needle was a system of exposure metering commonly used in the 1960's and 1970's. The system used small needles (similar to small watch hands) that lined up to indicate the level of exposure.

Konica 1

Item is a 35mm camera stamped "Made in Occupied Japan", which began a long history of Konica cameras made for export. The shutter was mounted on the top of a fixed tube.

Item is a manual single-lens reflex 35mm camera. The Nikkormat incorporates an electronically controlled vertical travel shutter. Located on the camera's top panel the shutter speed dial offers speeds from 4 sec to 1/1000 sec. Flash sync for electronic flash at all speeds up to 1/125 sec and for FP, M and MF type flashbulbs at all speeds from B to 1/1000 sec. The camera allows for film speeds from ASA 25-1600 and has a TTL center weighted metering with manual exposure control. The Nikkormat EL was produced in white/black chrome versions.

Type has automatic film transport and fully automatic operation as well as manual operation with the aid of a feature called :Image Master. The attached ( exchangeable ) lens is an AF. Folded citation card with profile portrait of Lenin on a red cover, addressed to a recipient in black ink and stamped. On verso, it reads: Certificate of Merit. Inside there is a quote by L. I Brezhnev. It also reads: Proletariat of all countries, unite! Certificate of Merit. It reads: Awarded to Shaulis Povilas Yuozovich for good Soviet attitude, high quality performance of tasks, in honour of the builder. Citation cards with badge design of the Little Octobrists. It is meant to be given to a child that achieves Little Octobrist status. On recto, there is a design featuring Lenin as a child within a red star with emanating rays, a message to the new Little Octobrist, a space to attach a photograph of the Little Octobrist and a space for notes. On verso, red star graphic with smaller designs featuring children participating in many of the activities associated with the club, including sports, agriculture and music. The History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union

Double 33 rpm record album in plastic and external fold-out sleeve. Cover has large red letters that stand for Communist Party of the Soviet Union and a depiction of the USSR constitution document. Centerfold contains numerous historical photograph reproductions with captions. Back has track listings. The years 1971-1980 are included in this 15th edition. It was recorded in 1982 and copyrighted in 1983. It cost 60 kopeks.

Series consists of sculptures and reliefs of Lenin, as well as a piece of marble from Lenin's mausoleum. Media include metal, wood, bronze, plaster, stone, plastic, glass, porcelain, and clay.

Lenin or Soviet themed bookplates

Various paper bookplates, printed with black ink using a woodblock process. They bear imagery of Lenin or Soviet symbolism and sometimes Russian text.

Set of Matrioshkas painted with Soviet political figures

Painted wooden nesting or Matrioshkas dolls of Russian Communist leaders. Mikhail Gorbachev is the first and largest doll, inside which in succession are the leaders: Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev, Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, Semyon Budyonny, Lavrentiy Beria, Sverdlov and Sailor Zeleznyak, leaders potentially of the Russian Revolution. The bottom of the Gorbachev doll has an inscription. Nine dolls in total. The Gorbachev doll has writing in Russian and English with the following messages: "Perestroika! Democracy! Glasnost! Gorbachev, the Father of the Region! USSR + USA = Love! I love Gorbi!" He is holding a set of papers entitled "New Thinking" and Gorbachev is listed as the author. The Brezhnev has Russian and English writing that reads: "Glory to the CPSU! Dear Leonid Ilyich! Party mind, honour and conscience! The party and the people are united! Russkaya Russian Vodka." The Khrushchev doll depicts him at a United Nations podium and he is holding a shoe. The writing around him reads: "Corn! Socialism! Cosmos! Accommodations!" The Stalin doll is holding a pipe and it reads: "Great VOKD! Father of the People!" The Lenin doll depicts him wearing a red ribbon and writing on the doll reads: "Peace to the People! Revolution!" The Beria doll depicts him holding a newspaper with the word "Business" on it and he's wearing a red armband with the letters TsK, which stand for Central Committee.

KGB t-shirt

Large white t-shirt with red writing on it, and coat of arms, laurel, sickle and hammer. On verso, wreath of laurels with star, globe with hammer and sickle and rising sun. More writing. Recto reads: KGB USSR. Verso reads in the different languages of the USSR: Proletariat of all countries, unite!

Bharatiya Kala Kendra, New Dehli, India

This file contains a photographic print of a Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra, an Indian cultural institution which runs a noted school for music, dance and performing arts in New Delhi, designed by The Design Group.

Russia Hotel, Moscow, Russia

This file contains a photographic print of the Russia Hotel under construction, with the 17th century church of St George in the background. The hotel was designed by architect Dmitry Chechulin and closed in 2006.
