The 60th anniversary of the Wellesley Hospital celebrations were held September 6-8, 1972. Events included a tour of the Hospital and garden party on the grounds, the School of Nursing's graduation ceremony, and dinner at the Royal York Hotel.
Souvenir booklet includes a history of the hospital and names of Nursing School graduates by class.

Elsie K. Jones was Wellesley class of 1925 graduate and started working at the Wellesley in 1928. She held the role of Director of Nursing at Wellesley from 1937-1964. She married Cye A. LaVenture after her retirement. Elsie K. passed away October 4, 1972, less than a month after this photograph was taken.

There is also a section on who you might see while staying in the hospital and how to identify them by uniform, a history of the hospital, a comments card and pages for notes.

An autobiography written by Herbert A. Bruce about his life, starting up the Wellesley, and his time as Lieutenant-Governor for Ontario. Found in the pages of the book is a newspaper clipping and a letter from Dr. Bruce.

Page 1 contained materials relating to the Wellesley Alumnae dinner in September 25th, 1978. Included are a toast to Grace (Bolton) Farthing, a photograph of the class of 1933 table at the dinner held at the Thornhill Golf and Country Club, a menu and itinerary for the event, and a card to Grace.

The majority were about a variety of Alumnae organization activities, but also included are obituaries of Alumnae members, and a story about Wellesley employees - Dr. J. Allan Walters and Dorothy Arnot receiving Queen Elizabeth II silver jubilee medals.

Topics include the annual luncheons, an obituary, a photograph of the 1975 graduating class in Ryerson Theatre, a photograph of Dorothy Arnot and Doraine Ross. Also on the page is a typewritten list of items sent in a package sent to Doraine Ross (class of 1960) in Zambia.
