Schneider Electric Smart Grid Laboratory brochure

The Schneider Electric Smart Grid Laboratory (SESG Lab) opened in the Ryerson’s Centre for Urban Energy (CUE) March 4, 2015. The facility, Canada’s first university-based smart grid laboratory, is available to partners and collaborators seeking to test new products or operational strategies, validate grid transformation solutions, conduct research and train employees.

LDC Asset Renewal discussion series

The LDC Asset Renewal Series was a series of discussions on the future of electricity distribution in Ontario and were chaired by Paul Murphy, past president and CEO of the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). The roundtables involved LDC sector participants, Sean Conway - the Centre for Urban Energy's Hydro One Distinguished Research Fellow, Bala Venkatesh - the Centre's academic Director, and Ryan Zade - a visiting research fellow.
The file contains one copy each of the executive summary; part 1: New Technology; part 2: Climate Change; part 3: Asset Upkeep and Renewal; part 4: Reliability; and part 5: Government. There is a complete bibliography available one the Centre's website.
