Lenin: stranitsy biografii = Lenin: pages of the biography [moving image]

The film contains many photographs of V. I. Lenin at different points in his life, and it has detailed information of Lenin's life and work from childhood to his last days. The first part of the film shows significant places in Lenin's childhood in Ulyanovsk, including his family home. The film also documents locations in St. Petersburg (night panorama), Kazan city, the Kremlin, Kokushkino village, burlaks on the Volga river, Samara city, and footage of ordinary farmers working the fields. Part two opens with the poor district of St. Petersburg where Lenin moved, photographs of leading workers of the St. Petersburg revolutionary movement, and the police cell where Lenin spent 14 months before transfer to the village of Shushenskoye, where he was briefly exiled from 1897-1900. The film discusses and displays original writings of Lenin, inlcuding his published books "The Development of Capitalism in Russia", "What Is to Be Done?", and "April Theses". There is also footage of the building that housed the fist Russian revolutionary newspaper Iskra(=Spark), with photos of the agents of the newspaper: Nikolai Bauman, Ivan Babushkin, Mikhail Kalinin, Elena Stasova, Dmitri Ulyanov Maxim Litvinov, Natalya Zemlyachko, Anna Ulyanova-Elizarova, Maria Ulyanova. Part three begins with the rebellion at Potemkin and shows places where Lenin lived abroad, including Geneva and Paris, followed by images of the building in Prague where the sixth All Russian Congress took place. There are also images of the building where the 1st issue of Pravda(=Truth), the leading Soviet newspaper from 1912-1991, was published. Images of Bloody Sunday are displayed, and images of events following the first World War in 1914 include Lenin's role in revolution of 1917, the arrest of Tsar Nicolas II and the destruction of royal symbols in Russia. The film mentions an assassination attempt on Lenin's life. Facts about the transition to Soviet government are introduced, addressing the very difficult conditions in a new country together with Civil War and the first World War. Film has footage of Lenin's speech from a balcony of the Mossoviet building about the necessity of military education for Soviet people. Then the film recounts of last months of Lenin's life and his death, concluding with praise for Lenin's politics, his genius and the present Soviet supremacy.

It starts at 11am." The invitation was issued and signed by Agricultural Construction Design Institute Director B. Rilys, party secretary A. Loda, local trade union chair J. Girdzius and Komsomol secretary A. Liksa.

Two sets of 12 posters, each set is missing poster 10 and has a duplicate of poster 9 instead. The posters illustrate the timeline of Lenin's life, with subjects including: The Ulyanov Family, Childhood and Youth, For the Happiness of the People, Leader of the Revolution, Advisor and Comrade, The Best Fried, Creator of New Light, Ilyich and Children, and Alive (Lives) Forever. It was published in Kyiv. The authors were Tamila Semenivna Zhurbyts'ka and Nina Oleksiyivna Andrusych, designer was Mykola Arkadiyovych Uspens'kyy and the editor was N. H. Shyshkina. The head editor was V. F. Hozha, the Associate editors were Ya. A. Lemeshenko and A. V. Sabadash, the design editor was M. M. Yakushchenko, the technical editor was Z. C. Onyshchuk and the correctors were E. P. Braslavs'ka and N. S.Mytsyk.

Set of fourteen small posters in a book format, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the October revolution. On the back of the folder holding the posters, the dates 1917-1987 are written. Banner has writing with images of Vladimir Illyich Lenin's likeness, USSR logo, a clock tower, and six wreaths with banners and dates. Recto reads a quote attributed to V. I. Lenin: Union of Communist youth should be a shock group, which in every task shows its help, shows its initative, its handsel. A quote attributed to M. I. Kalinin reads: The Young Communist League has played a huge role in the civil war and helped the party to its selfless courage and heroism to completed it victoriously.

Item consists of red note cards with graphic depiction of Lenin's face on cover and Lithuanian text within. One copy has the years 1917-1977 written on the cover, but the others do not. They are addressed to Mr. Comrade H. Puskunigiui. The copy with the years 1917-1977 congratulates him and his staff on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the October Socialist Revolution. Another card congratulates him and his staff on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the October Socialist Revolution. Another card is an invitation to a formal sitting dedicated to the USSR State Construction Committee and construction and building materials industry workers' unions of the Central Committee of Red Flag. It was to be held at the Agricultural Construction Design Institute's Institute Hall on March 5 at 3pm.. The cards are issued and signed by Agricultural Construction Design Institute Director B. Rilys, party secretary A. Loda, local trade union chair J. Girdzius, Komsomol secretary A. Liksa.

It reads: 1928 - In commemoration of combat merit for outstanding heroism during the civil war and foreign intervention. 1931 - For the initiative taken for the shock work and socialist competition, to ensure a successful implementation of the first five-year economic development plan of the country. 1945 - For outstanding services to the country during World War II, for the great work of educating Soviet youth in the spirit of selfless devotion to the Fatherland. 1948 - For outstanding services to the country in the case of education of Soviet youth and active participation in Socialist construction, in connection with the 30th anniversary of the founding of Kosomol. 1956 - For great contribution in Socialist building, emphasizing the selfless work of boys and girls in the successful development of virgin and fallow lands. 1968 - For outstanding achievements in Socialist and Communist construction, for the fruitful work of educating the younger generation and in connection with the 50th anniversary of the founding of Kosomol. Beneath that text reads a quote attributed to V. I. Lenin: Union Communist youth should be a shock group, which through any work demonstrates its help, exerts its iniative, its handsel. Beneath that reads: All-Union Lenin (adj.) Communist Union of Youth.

Folded citation card with profile portrait of Lenin on a red cover, addressed to a recipient in black ink and stamped. On verso, it reads: Certificate of Merit. Inside there is a quote by L. I Brezhnev. It also reads: Proletariat of all countries, unite! Certificate of Merit. It reads: Awarded to Shaulis Povilas Yuozovich for good Soviet attitude, high quality performance of tasks, in honour of the builder. It is signed by the head of construction boards "Stroiindustriya" V. F. Kotsarev, party bureau secretary O. M. Pakhomkova and Predpostroikoma V. M. Sozonov.

Citation cards with badge design of the Little Octobrists. It is meant to be given to a child that achieves Little Octobrist status. On recto, there is a design featuring Lenin as a child within a red star with emanating rays, a message to the new Little Octobrist, a space to attach a photograph of the Little Octobrist and a space for notes. On verso, red star graphic with smaller designs featuring children participating in many of the activities associated with the club, including sports, agriculture and music. It reads: We have five rules and we will achieve them. The rules are listed on the right-hand side, written as poetry. The art work was done by A. Finogenov and the cards were produced in Moscow.
