Aerospace Photo Portfolio

A binder/portfolio of photographs/negatives/contact sheets, with descriptions, from the Aerospace Program, submitted to Ryerson's Promotion Services department for selection in the planning and development of the first Aerospace Program brochure. This material has been removed from the binder and placed inside an acid-free folder according to its original order.This material has been co-arranged under the Aerospace RG 644.11 because it is assumed that both areas were involved in the commission of this project.

Faculty of Arts floor hockey tournament photographs

Photographs of faculty members and spectators taken during and after a Faculty of Arts floor hockey tournament. Participants in the tournament were faculty members from the departments of History, Economics, Politics and Applied Geography.

Photograph files

This file contains black and white photographs used by Journalism students in the production of the publication "The Ryersonian".

Ryersonian assignment photographs

The Journalism School stopped maintaining a file for previously used photographs, referred to a a "morgue" file, from which they donated photographs to the Archives for permanent preservation. To continue receiving these records, a short-term arrangement was reached whereby the Archives identified from the newspaper, The Ryersonian, which photographs were desirable, photocopied them and Journalism located the photographs, made copy prints, and sent them to the Archives. The transfer arrangement ended in 1999.

Contact Sheets : RTA Students

File contains photographs of student headshots adhered to cardboard, photocopies of these sheets, and contact sheets. Arranged by academic year, each file holds sets of photographs of each of the three years the program ran.

Varsity Team portraits, 1998-1999

File contains photographs from a game held in the Kerr Hall gymnasium - Ryerson Rams women's basketball team vs University of Guelph Gryphons.

University of Ottawa

File contains photographs from two different games held in the Kerr Hall gymnasium - Ryerson Rams women's basketball team vs University of Ottawa Gee-Gees. Single photograph of first game, the rest of the file is from the second game. File also 2 negative strips don't appear to be related to the other photographs in the file.

University of Toronto

File contains photographs from three different games - Ryerson Rams women's basketball team vs University of Toronto Blues. Two of the games took place in the Kerr Hall gymnasium, and other in an unidentified location. Another sleeve of negatives has photographs from a 4th game and potentially photographs that coincide with existing prints in the file.

Bishop's University

File contains photographs of the game featuring the Ryerson Rams women's basketball team against the Bishop's University Gaiters. Game took place in the Kerr Hall gym. File also contains negatives. Unclear as to whether or not they coincide with the prints or are of another game(s) entirely.

Universite Laval

File contains photographs a game held in the Kerr Hall gymnasium - Ryerson Rams men's basketball team vs Laval Rouge et Or (Red and Gold).

Fencing team

File contains 17 team photographs for the fencing team. Included are several undated team photographs along with ones for 1960-1961; 1993-1994; 1995-1996 - 2005-2006. Labels indicating team member names present for some of the photographs.

Squash (women's) team photographs

File contains double-sided stereographs (with images on both sides of the card) that depict buildings, animals and people at the beach, a lake, a creek bank, an island in the middle of a lake with a person on it a street scene, an Indigenous Person and Paul Wing Jr.

Departmental display boards

Media Centre photographs
