File contains press releases and press kits prepared by Eastman Kodak Company communications department between 1976 and 1989. Most press releases pertain to Kodak products and provide tips on various forms of photography and subject matter. However, some releases pertain to events in Kodak's corporate history, such as corporate anniversaries. Eastman Kodak's Corporte Information department changed its name to Corporate Communicatons in 1979 and then to Communications and Public Affairs between 1983 and 1987.

File includes: centennial team strategic documents and timelines; Powerpoint presentation printouts; a presentation from Business Communication Service Ltd. related to brochure publication; correspondence with Alliance Atlantis related to broadcast advertising; centennial logos; inventories of images used in web advertising; an issue of Marketing Magazine from Dec. 1999; records related to the distribution of special edition Kodak T-550 Advantix cameras to employees; brochures; Mayor Mel Lastman's proclamation of Kodak Photo Week and Kodak Centennial Day; and other miscellaneous documents. Records likely belonged to Bonnie Chapman, who worked both in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs and as the Curator of the Kodak Heritage Collection and Museum.

Press releases pertain to Kodak products and provide tips on various forms of photography and subject matter, as well as document events in Kodak Canada's corporate history, including the closing of its manufacturing operations in Canada. Kodak Canada's Communications department changed its name to Corporate Communications between 1982 and 1986, then changed it again to Corporate communications and Public Affairs in 1988. Between 1999 and 2004, the company began to enlist the services of public relations and marketing firm Fleishman Hillard.
