File contains photographs of the official opening of the Centre for Advanced Technology Education (CATE) Nov. 5, 1985. File also includes textual records describing some of the photographs. Attendees included: Flora MacDonald, Minister of Employment and Immigration, Gregory Sorbara, Ontario Minister of Colleges and Universities, Dr. Brian Segal, President of Ryerson, and Art Eggleton, Mayor of Toronto. File also includes photographs of a class in CATE taking the IBM retraining program.

File is divided into 3 folders. File contains photographs of Ryerson alumni, staff and faculty participating in mostly alumni activities including: fundraising, Homecoming and dances.

File contains photographs of William (Bill) Barnes. At the time he was the campaign director for Ryerson's "Developing for the Eighties" fundraising campaign.

File contains head shots of Ryerson alumnus (Architecture '65), Roland Jonker. His photograph was published in the 'FORUM' magazine in Feb., 1983 and in Oct., 1982 when he was alumni representative on the Board of Governors.

File contains two photographs taken by Chris Bell of the 60th anniversary reunion of the Toronto Normal School's graduating class of 1924. One photograph is a group photo of the 60 + attendees at the reunion and one is of the reunion organizers - Perry Malcolm and Dr. Archie Ritter. The reunion attendees had luncheon in Jorgenson Hall, were given a campus tour, and had a presentation by former Archivist Jim Peters.
The photograph of the two reunion organizers was published in the June 1, 1984 edition of the FORUM newsletter.

File contains two photographs of the Academic Council alumni representatives. Included are Craig Ivory, RTA '71; Lori Atkinson SURPI employee and John McCord, Electrical Technology '58.

The file contains sleeve/page protectors containing 35 mm black & white negatives, corresponding contact strips, and contact pages. The photographic images are of various people, places and activities at and around Ryerson University. It is believed the images have been taken mainly by head photographer of the Media Centre.
